Food, service and atmosphere was great and prices reasonable. We had a reall good bowl of peasoup and the sausages were delicious. We will go back to this

The pea soup was a great start.My sausage and potato pancakes were very and my wife had just soup and the potato pancakes which she loved. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. We'll go back again.

I was a little concerned because I'd seen they had a 3.7 rating on one site but I wanted to try them. We were the only ones there sadly and the waitress was friendly and efficient. I tried a Danish sausage platter w potato pancake and red cabbage and I also had a bowl of pea soup. Husband had chicken picatta and roast potatoes and veg. All was delicious. I hope people look at the good reviews and try them. They hv a nice indoors and an outside patio. The DO need to stop giving out a very raggedy, torn drinks menu though.

If I could give the food a zero I would. The sausage was dry and the schnitzel was flavorless and over 50 dollars for just two items. Avoid this place at all

Not fancy but solid fare. Had the herring plate which was fairly generous. Then grilled mixed sausage plate. Good beer selection. Everything priced fairly considering this is touristy destination.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE - THE PEA WATER SOUP IS UNBELIEVABLE - they have chicken marsala at a danish restaurant???? ???? and they add tip on to bill because they know you wont leave a dime after eating their disgusting food - i think the cooks and staff shouldbe in jail for what they serve

food was great staff was pleasant but we got there shortly after they got a rush and some items were not available because they didn't have anyone to wash dishes/glassware???? seriously if you are the corner or manager get your ass to the dish machine and run some glasses thru Hard to believe you are willing to lose business because you can't run a rack of glassware through the dishwasher

The food is good and well prepared.There are a few traditional dishes and the rest of the menu is more common (burger, sausage...)The plus is its location outside the crowds with a beautiful sunny terrace.I advise and I think it deserves a higher rating on the reviews

A Solvang treasure! Don't miss this restaurant because it's hidden from the main tourist traps. The popular restaurants get crowded, so come here instead. Good Danish food if you want to feel the theme of the city. A variety of Appetizers, salads, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, kids meals, entree's, sausages and Danish specials, plus desserts! Breakfast? Of course! Skip Paulas Pancakes and The Solvang Restaurant. They even have a pub if you feel like just drinks! Food is delicious and perfectly portioned. Prices are just right. The atmosphere looks like a European bar. Service is great. They're open all day. You can dine outside on their beautiful patio. This place is a gem and is definitely worth stopping by.

I recently tried this place in Solvang away from the long lines on the main street. The ambiance is so so but the food was actually pretty good. We ordered the herring starter and the sausage platter. We will come back during our next trip to the area.
