This is one of those “old school” deli places that still gives you a little Andes chocolate bar to go with your sandwich. I have fond memories growing up, stopping at this place to get their beef jerkey (best in the area, for sure!) and today swung by to grab a turkey sandwich for lunch. The Dutch crunch bread was fresh - chewy, and crispy on the outside - with fresh meat and “the works.” It was delicious, the staff were friendly, and prices were reasonable (!) yes, those kinds of places still exist in Sonoma! Can’t wait until my journeys lead me past Angelo’s again; I’ll be back.

I feel the need to say I will go out of my way to stop by here every single time I am in the area. Over the last 5 years, I have made it my goal to find the best sandwiches in California, and to date, I have never found better than here. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Their jerky is top tier, and their meats are high quality and full of flavor. However, the shining star is the sandwich, the bread is always soft, the meat is always juicy (I get the smoked chicken salad sandwich and it alone is the best chicken salad I have ever had). If you are contemplating going anywhere else, don't, you will not regret going here. Location is a touch small, however I like the feeling the smaller location gives, it is a nice break from the busy world.Keep up the incredible work and I can't wait to return!

Sandwiches are DELICIOUS! We had the bbq beef and also a tri-tip sandwich. Best sandwich I've had in years! The only thing that could be better is if they served wine and/or beer!

I never go to Napa or Sonoma without buying at least one pound of jerky and grabbing a sub. Very friendly staff, great sandwiches, and best beef jerky I’ve ever had (and I’m a jerky guy). One of my fave places on the planet

The best jerky, anywhere!! Do not miss this place. I have been to Angelo's many times in 20+ years and I always go when visiting Sonoma. Such a cool, home style place.

Friendly staff and some amazing sandwiches. With a variety of beef jerky flavors, there should be one to suit everyone in your group.

The workers are fine. The sandwiches are thin. The big tv shows 'Angelo' making focaccia. That's outdated propaganda They don't have an oven. The hot sandwiches are nuked in a microwave. Total price: $14 for 2 oz of meat. Don't do it, it's a deli that is charging $$$ for a THIN sandwich. FAIL!!

Great sandwiches and other treats worth the drive out.

Angelo's, is a Sonoma wine country staple! Deli always fresh and of the best quality, jerky's to die for! Staff always super courteous and friendly! Take this from me, wine tour driver that has been visiting these guys for 10 years now.Management, please make it possible to tip your staff via credit card machine! I usually carry small bills, but recently only had $1 to tip. I would like to share the wealth with such courteous attentive staff! 9.5 stars out of 5 stars.... 1/2 star reduced for the lack of ability to tip on credit cards...Keep doing what you're doing! Visited Sunday August 13 2023. Cheers.

We went to Angelo's on a Monday afternoon to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was just us at first but a huge crowd came in soon after. The store is fairly small- just some fridges filled with meat and pastas, some shelves with snacks and homemade meat jerky, and the sandwich counter. There are a few benches outside to sit and eat. They even have a sink outside to wash your hands before and after eating.Back to the food- my wife had the tri tip sandwich and I had the Portuguese sausage sandwich. Both were really good and came with an Andes mint chocolate piece taped to the wrapping. I liked the Portuguese sausage more- it was super flavorful. The sandwiches were around 17$ each but were pretty big and they definitely didn't skimp on the meat. It was filling enough for me to skip dinner- but I also had my wife's other half. The staff was really nice and answered any questions we had. BTW- They take credit cards.Overall, it was a great lunch. I suggest taking the sandwiches to a winery to eat with your wine tastings- most wineries have a patio area to sit and eat. I'll definitely be back next time we are in town and will be telling my friends and family about our experience.

8/20/23 I love the cow Quick pit stop for Diet Coke for Hubby. Thankfully they carry Coke products. It's a deli, small, tiny but with lots to offer for sandwiches & jerky, beverages & snacks. I took a sample of the bread & dipping sauce, tangy! If we were hungry, we would've gotten some sandwiches. It's great to know that this shop is here from our Sonoma trip on the way to San Francisco.
