Great looking bar - but we were here for dinner. Sparse seating steel small chairs and uncomfortable. Service ok and food was from good to poor. Pricing was a bit high for claims of quality.
Enjoyed our dinner and server T provided great service. He also provided some nice recommendations in the area for our trip of places to visit
The gnocchi was stellar...a must have. Really can't complain about anything we ate. The Kentucky Mistress is refreshing and a great change from an old fashioned.
Food was really tasty. Surprised to see that they make their own pasta in house right in front of you. Had a Guinness which was a little flat but overall had a really good meal. Would definitely go back next time in Sonoma
We sat in T's section and he is the most kindest man, you can tell he loves his job and where he works. I kind of made my own dish fresh pasta in the garlic wine sauce with grilled shrimp instead of sautéed and add peas. This was delicious I think I needed a little salt but never added it. My hubby got the bolognese which is made fresh daily.
Fantastic! Handled our big group with ease, server made great suggestions, and the food was perfection!
atmosphere was nice, but this historic building could use a little love, but all in all it was very clean. The service was fantastic and the food was surprisingly Italian and delicious.
As Sonoma locals BV whiskey bar is absolutely one of our favorite places to dine. Every time we go, the food is great and the service is always attentive. While yes, it can sometimes be a bit loud, it is a welcoming environment, and everybody's your friend.
Three members of my family are celiacs which always makes it difficult to eat at a burger/pub. We were so impressed with how well the restaurant was able to take care of us. We even ate french fries! Lots and lots of french fries. Our waitress understood our allergy and was really good at taking care with our food. Everything was delicious and we will definitely go back.
We picked this restaurant as we were ready for "not wine" after a week in Napa. My Negroni was perfect and my Husband enjoyed his bourbon but the star of the evening was our ragu. The pasta was homemade and Melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the sauce was the best I have ever had. definitely a win!

B&V is a fun neighborhood spot on Sonoma square. Great burgers and Onion Rings, good cocktails, and outstanding service from T. If you're looking for a spot for a great burger, don't hesitate to try out B&V.
Entertained a small group of work colleagues here after a day of meetings nearby. Our table was ready for us upon arrival, and service was great and attentive throughout the meal. The menu is tried and true, although unremarkable. Same for wines, beers, and cocktails. Everyone found something they were interested in and the whole group found the quality of each dish decent. Desserts were tasty and made well, too. We made quite a bit of noise as a boisterous group, which fit in well with this upbeat yet laid back bar-like setting. I'd recommend it for a reliable group meal in an easy-going setting.
It's more of a local bar. Lots of people there. Just had salad with chicken no drinks. The waiters and waitresses were very nice. Just not my cup of tea.
We had a large group of six people. We started out with a couple of appetizers and a salad, and shared the Florentine steak along with a couple of other pasta dishes. We had a great dinner and service! Thank you for being a local favorite.
Great spot. Friendly staff. Attentive waiter. Food came quickly, and was reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
