Stopped here twice for a breakfast. The staff were very kind and engaging. The food was great. I got a breakfast sandwich and then the oats along with LOTS of pastries for the road. Big fan. Fast and easy spot to drop in for a good breakfast and good cup of coffee (or latte).

This place has been run aground since change in ownership years back. As a chef, I can no longer use their products since they lack consistency and quality control. As a local, the cafe lacks any kind of passion in their craft and only caters to tourists that see it as the only place on the square for a pastry and cafe. Wake up Basque, Monday bakery just opened last fall right around the corner on Napa st. and produces far superior pastries and coffees. For the time being, I will have to search for another bakery to meet my business needs and when my five year old requests a delicious pastry, I will be looking elsewhere.

This is a must stop when visiting Sonoma. We legit went here everyday on vacation. If I lived close I would be there everyday. They have delicious food, the best bread, and the prices are great. They do day old bread too which looked amazing. If you are looking for a simple place to spend hours sipping your coffee and eating baked goods or breakfast and lunch look no further.Vegetarian options: Their bread is to die for and they make killer breakfast sandwiches

Tried to order a quiche in the store but the lady said they don't sell it whole you'll have to order in advance. So we decided to get four slices anyway. They charge almost $10 per slice and it was a small slice. Let me tell ya...it wasn't nothing to write home about. Don't waste your money.

Ordered 4 coffees paid 25$ for them, asked for an additional paper cup, they wanted to charge for it! Never again, plenty of excellent options around. Money grabbing business. Stay away from this establishment.

They have outside tables in the sun which is an advantage, and the reason why I stopped here instead of an other place. The coffee is ok, definitely not special. I didn't try any pastry or food items, however my impression is that they don't understand the concept of customer service here at all and their feedback makes perfect sense. I never felt welcome here.

Pretty good cafe/bakery. Had the turkey panini - pretty big and plenty to eat. Tried a raspberry danish - was dry and not very full of flavor.

The sourdough baguette was not sourdough but instead had a stale balsa wood texture and flavorless. it could not possibly have been made within 24 hours. Returned it but the baker made no attempt to replace it. She just said, "Well, we'll donate it." Pity the party that had to try to choke it down. If you are in Santa Rosa, do not pass up the Goguette Bakery's Sourdough. Superb.

Horrible service. The owner was very mean to us only because they wanted to close the shop. She screamed at us and other customers to hurry and rushing us. Such a bad customer service. I can only imagine how she treats her employees.
