We have been ordering wine from Bedrock many years. This was our first time to visit. The tasting room is just off the main square in Sonoma. It is located in the historic Joseph Hooker House. We were a few minutes late for our appointment but we were seated immediately. Our tasting started with Under The Wire sparkling wine followed by some the Cuvée Karatas which we liked. The plot twisted in the next two pours. In each of the final two rounds we were offered 3 wines to evaluate side by side. This was super fun. We also ordered the charcuterie board and it was delicious too. We had a wine order already pending so we just added more bottles to this order. We opted to take a bottle of 2009 Griffen's Lair syrah with us to drink at the hotel.
Fantastic tasting experience serving completely unique wines from Old California vineyards. We were lucky to be hosted by the terrific sommelier Aistė Ballou. Bedrock is a must for anyone visiting Sonoma, CA.
Very much enjoyed a local tasting. The cab competes with the best of Sonoma. And the SB was superb for the price point.
Amazing tasting room experience in a beautiful historic space. And great recommendations for other places in the area! A highlight of our quick trip.
My wife and I visited the tasting room at Sonoma downtown and we were pleased with the visit. The staff is nice and they know every detail about their wine and their vineyards. They have a delicious Zinfandel and some other wines. If you want to try something different from Cab Sauv from Napa, then this is the right place
Grant was awesome, learned so much about the winemaking process and field blends. Bedrock is the place to go if you love old vine zin. Also the sparking was amazing, still dreaming about it
Delicious wines made with a focus on regenerative farming practices and really nice people!
Lovely charcuterie, with cheeses from the local cheese shop.
We love this place. Very interesting wines from old vines that speak to their terroir.
Had a great tasting with Aiste, perfect stop for a tasting on the Square

Thank you Grant. You are and wonderful host and we could have stayed all day talking about wine, viticulture and dogs. This is a must visit tasting room in Sonoma. Some of the best wine in California and the work they are doing converting vineyards to organic/sustainable is highly commendable. Looking forward to another visit and the next release!
We had a fantastic time with Grant visiting the vineyard and the wines included in the tasting were great as well. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience with Grant visiting the vineyard and with the tasting. Bedrock has a magnificent history with century old vines and great wines. A must visit if you are in the Sonoma Napa region
This place is tucked away in the El Paseo Courtshops in a historical house. The history that they have on the walls was interesting and they had a wonderful and private patio area for tastings. Their wines were interesting, but their pato wine was one of the best reds we tasted all weekend. We did not catch her name, but we were helped by the red headed Lithuanian woman who was so friendly and helpful in explaining wines, their process for ordering wines, etc.
Really enjoyable experience at the tasting room. Some of our favorite wines we tasted from our trip to Sonoma. Really enjoyed the chuy under the wire and cuvée karatas.
