I stopped at Bloom Carneros for lunch while my guests were out wine tasting, and it turned out to be a great find. I ordered the baby back ribs and overall the meal was very good. The kung pao sauce leaned a bit on the familiar side flavor-wise, but still paired nicely with the dish. The fries were extra crispy, which if that is your thing (and it definitely is mine), you will love them.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the whole spot has an interesting, almost hidden feel. It is the kind of place you might only know about if you are local or if someone told you to exit off Sonoma Highway. The outdoor area has a relaxed picnic-style vibe that really makes it stand out.

I look forward to stopping here again in the future and trying more of their menu.

A wonderful new place for all those with kids and dogs. We are always looking for places to go where we can bring the whole crew. the menu was great (even for kids and dogs!) and the service was wonderful. Really nice wine list for the parents to enjoy and ideal shaded outdoor seating. I can’t wait to go back to listen to live music. It’s my new go to spot for spending weekend afternoons.

Bloom Carneros is a true Sonoma gem! We come often as wine club members, and it’s our go-to for enjoying Kivelstadt wines with a delicious meal. It’s rare to find a spot that’s both kid- and dog-friendly — they have shaded outdoor seating, a big open space for kids to run, and even a playhouse.

The food is outstanding. The burrata, halibut aguachile, peach BLT on focaccia, and KC Burger are all must-tries — each dish cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Pair it with a glass (or two) of your favorite Kivelstadt wine, and you’ve got the perfect afternoon.

Whether you live in Sonoma or are just passing through wine country, Bloom Carneros should be on your list

This place is happy, welcoming, relaxed, friendly, and the food is tasty and fresh. Great lunch after Sonoma shopping. I had the chicken bites with whipped ricotta & chili jam plus strawberry salad and practically licked the plate everything was so farm-to-table good. I'll be back!

Bloom Carneros is a wonder “wine garden” for Kivelstadt Cellars where you can sip wine or beer outside on the patio or in the garden and enjoy a delicious meal or appetizers. The menu has some staples but has several seasonal options.

Smaller menu, but they do everything very well. Fresh ingredients and great execution of the dishes. Don't be afraid to try something new

Bloom Carneros: Sparkling rosé, ancient vines, and a brunch worth remembering.

We came to Bloom for a birthday brunch and left completely enchanted. The sparkling rosé was a standout—elegant, crisp, and genuinely one of the best I’ve had. I’d come back for that alone.

Brunch itself was beautiful—seasonal, flavorful, and plated with care. Not overdone, just perfectly balanced. Afterward, we stayed for a tasting flight that explored the more adventurous side of their cellar, including:

Orange wines that leaned floral and bright (though I’d love to see them left on the lees a bit longer for that extra depth you get in Hungary or Georgia)

Ancient vines, with fruit from the late 1800s and early 1900s—are intensely flavorful and rare to taste. These older vines struggle more, so the yield is smaller but the wine is full of character.

The real magic, though, was in the hospitality. Our tasting guide had a degree in winemaking and shared her knowledge generously—thoughtfully tailoring the experience and elevating the entire afternoon. She made my friend’s birthday feel personal, relaxed, and incredibly special.

Top reasons to go:

🌸 Truly excellent sparkling rosé

🥂 Warm, knowledgeable service

🍽️ Refined but approachable brunch menu

🍷 Fascinating flight: orange wines + ancient vines

🧘‍♀️ A calm, elegant space to slow down and savor

If you're looking for a place that’s both elevated and welcoming, Bloom Carneros is a must. I’ll be recommending it to everyone.

The artwork on the bottles is amazing and I would love to see the artist's work hung in the tasting room.

I had food from here as catering for a wedding and honestly it was all so disappointing. Even something as simple as bread pudding was cold, unsweetened, and somehow tasted smokey which was horrid.

Refused me and my family service. The host said we could try coming back in a few hours even though we could see many open tables.

Very good food and service at reasonable prices. They sell Kivelstadt and other wines to take home at reasonable prices. They are kid friendly. It is better to reserve in advance because the parking was full when we went. When we left at 2 p.m. on a Friday, a guitar player started to play.
