Bump winery offers great wines at very good prices at their lovely tasting room in downtown Sonoma. The shop is inviting, well designed and is a family own business which deserves more attention and our support. Next time you are in Sonoma drop by for a tasting or a purchase of your favorite wines and gift items. Periodically, local artist's works are also on display.

We spent 4 days in Sonoma and this was one of my favorite tastings. We were they only ones in the place and felt like it was a private tasting. We learned about their wine making journey and found out that two of us went to the same college as Mieko...go CC Tigers! The wines were wonderful and obviously made with love and care. Can't wait to open my Pinot for Thanksgiving! If you are looking for a relaxing, welcoming place to try wonderful wine...Bump is your place.

We have been here 3-4 times now. Made an appointment to come in today, not realizing they are closed on Monday's, but we called to make an appointment. They gladly scheduled the appointment and made no mention that they were not open Mondays. We came in and realized they came in for us. I mean come on, talk about guest experience. First class all the way. We love their wines and their attention to detail, their dedication and love of organic grown grapes. Just fantastic!

Great wine and huge pour. Definitely worth stopping in for a glass or 2 while enjoying the clean atmosphere

Amazing experience! Geordie was a wonderful host who made us feel welcomed sharing family stories and the history behind their wine making endeavor. I enjoyed learning more about Sonoma, the families wine making process and appreciating this quaint community. As others have said the tasting room is very welcoming with a laid back feel and the wine was delicious!Don't pass this opportunity to speak with a real wine maker who is passionate for their products and the community they live in.

Fantastic, small batch family owner winery, the owner gave us a friendly and low-key tasting. Such a refreshing experience. If you're looking to avoid a corporate winery and hear from a family that makes this area their home, it's a must-taste :).

We’re wine snobs but knew little about Sonoma (shameful, I know). So when the weather altered our plan and diverted us to the Sonoma Valley, we reached out to a local expert. She sent us to Bump winery for an authentic Sonoma experience and we’ll be forever grateful. Not only is the wine fantastic, but the winemaker is also local, passionate about conservation, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history. We also loved the art in the tasting room and if it is still there on our next visit, a piece might need to come home with us.

Google said it was open, and it wasn't! Annoying - maybe if they keep their hours to date and I visit later I will adjust the review

LOVED our tasting with owner, Mieko. She was so friendly and welcoming. Delicious organic Zinfandels and Pinot Noires here! Highly recommend for an unpretentious, friendly, and informative stop right off the Sonoma square. Thanks Mieko!

I'm glad my wife and I came here in the middle of the day for a tasting. We got to sit and talk to the owner the entire time. We are pretty seasoned wine enthusiasts and love when we get to talk about how each winemaker makes their wine stand out. She was more than happy to talk about their family history and how they got started. It was a very enjoyable experience. Oh yeah, the wine was great too!

Know your lines and don't bump into the furniture. -- Spencer TracyI usually bump into the furniture ;-) We were strolling through the Plaza and saw this cute tasting room. Yelp reviews were excellent so we stumbled in (bumped?). One of the owners was pouring and even though it was a holiday weekend, no one else came in. It is a lovely space with interesting local art. The owner was lovely too, nice energy and enthusiasm for her story. They were pouring 3 wines, all were very good, balanced and at an excellent price point. The Pinot was our favorite. We had a bottle that night with fish, so fruity and delicious. Tasting fee comped with purchase. Highly recommend!!
