BV has been in the Square for 11 years. A testimony to their food, service, and reputation. Both locals and tourists always feel welcomed.
Two us have the prime rib special on Thursday, and it was very average, the portion was small, the potatoes seemed like they were made the day before.
What a great list of whiskey to choose from at reasonable prices too. The food was delicious. Homemade pastas were on the menu. Service was top notch. A definite must for whiskies.
Lovely location, very good service but the food was disappointing, three of us had the Prime Rib special, which seemed to have been old, pre-sliced and barely reheated, slathered with a thick mustard to hide the lack of freshness. The other meal was branzino- over cooked. I had been before for burgers which were very good, so if I go back it's lunch, burgers and no dinner.
We experienced only average service while there for an early dinner. My wife ordered the bolognese and it was below average. I ordered a shrimp pasta dish that was so salty it was unbearable to eat. It was salty to the nth degree. I sent it back so they charged me 60% of the dish as I ate most of the shrinp. I would avoid this place for food but it appeared to be a decent bourbon bar if you just want a drink .
Our server T was wonderful! Great with recommendations and gave a great experience overall.
Great looking bar - but we were here for dinner. Sparse seating steel small chairs and uncomfortable. Service ok and food was from good to poor. Pricing was a bit high for claims of quality.
Enjoyed our dinner and server T provided great service. He also provided some nice recommendations in the area for our trip of places to visit
The gnocchi was stellar...a must have. Really can't complain about anything we ate. The Kentucky Mistress is refreshing and a great change from an old fashioned.
Food was really tasty. Surprised to see that they make their own pasta in house right in front of you. Had a Guinness which was a little flat but overall had a really good meal. Would definitely go back next time in Sonoma

We sat in T's section and he is the most kindest man, you can tell he loves his job and where he works. I kind of made my own dish fresh pasta in the garlic wine sauce with grilled shrimp instead of sautéed and add peas. This was delicious I think I needed a little salt but never added it. My hubby got the bolognese which is made fresh daily.
Fantastic! Handled our big group with ease, server made great suggestions, and the food was perfection!
atmosphere was nice, but this historic building could use a little love, but all in all it was very clean. The service was fantastic and the food was surprisingly Italian and delicious.
Three members of my family are celiacs which always makes it difficult to eat at a burger/pub. We were so impressed with how well the restaurant was able to take care of us. We even ate french fries! Lots and lots of french fries. Our waitress understood our allergy and was really good at taking care with our food. Everything was delicious and we will definitely go back.
We picked this restaurant as we were ready for "not wine" after a week in Napa. My Negroni was perfect and my Husband enjoyed his bourbon but the star of the evening was our ragu. The pasta was homemade and Melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the sauce was the best I have ever had. definitely a win!
