Then there was one. Currently there is only one shopfront open at Cornerstone Sonoma. Meadowcroft wines is still there, well they were there two weeks ago. The other businesses of restaurants, galleries, and shops have closed up shop.
The grounds and gardens are still meticulously up kept. Me and hubs were the only ones walking about the gardens on a mid-Saturday afternoon. I felt as if we were the last two people on earth. It was eerily silent and quietly beautiful. My two favorite garden installations are the lily pond and the Garden of Contrast. The first time I visited this location was over 15 years ago when it was a garden art gallery only with an admission fee. It had evolved from then to what it is now... shopping plaza with retail, galleries, restaurants, party venue site, and outdoor gardens that are free to visit.
I understand the management company that owns Cornerstone has fallen on hard times. I hope that they will be able to settle that and revive this place. It's a beautiful piece property from the gardens, venue grounds, and modern buildings with gorgeous views of wine country.
This place is never open regardless of their business hours. Such a waste of beautiful space. So disappointing!
The art installations and the immersiveness of each one is mindblowing. It is all free, to boot. There are gardens that charge admission offering a lot less. And none offer anything like Cornerstone Sonoma.
There is a beautiful artificial pond (there used to be more). Lots of metal structures filled with stones. Tall walls made out of haystacks with a symbolic chair at end. Wire trees, some with dangling jewels. A wooden path through the water with art on standing walls.
These are all very bad descriptions so I suggest you see it for yourself. It is also a wedding venue and I have seen some beautiful setups here. There are suitable buildings and open-air structures.
There are also bathrooms open to the public.
No restaurants open, Folktable is shut down. just a winery open.
It used to be better, you were able to grab a board of cheeses and jellies and go to the picnic area but not any more, the whole ambient has changed
A very nice and relaxing place to have a stroll through their gardens and relax over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
It was very nice it was warm and there were a lot of people.
This place has seen its better day(s). Don't bother with Obsedian Wines! They were dismissive and rude. Barely paid us any attention and then charged us $16 for the tiniest pour of wine I have ever had. Zero hospitality, zero people skills. This was on Saturday 10/14/23 - check who was working that day, not good. Gardens were lovely but it all seemed a little "worn" to me.
Waited 30 minutes for take-out Caesar salad after being told that food would take just a few minutes. Disappointed by service regarding the tardiness. Salad was decent.
Beautiful grounds and flowers. Wish the coffee shop/ espresso bar had been open in the afternoon.

Most of the stores have closed up. Was a big disappointment. Don't need to go back.
The gardens here are over the top. We go visit every time we’re in the area, just to see the flowers.
Friendly, helpful staff. Food and service was excellent!!! I will definitely be back...
We attended for a holiday event. Nice people. Pre fixed menu with some pork belly bean surprise... Absolutely disgusting and scandalous given the prices. 2 stars for the ambiance and the good will (which goes a long way in these post-Covid times)… But Good Lord get it together. What a rip off!!
Prepared for Autumn styled pictures but looks a little bit wild. Some paths were closed. Not many flowers were blooming. But yes, pumpkins were everywhere. Nice few art objects but definitely not enough. Rumors had it was much more interesting in the past
