Food from Delhi Belly was freshly made and delivered hot. And plentiful. But don't order from this place if want Indian food. It looks like Indian food but doesn't taste like it. I'm Indian so I should know. I'm not exaggerating! We ordered the saag paneer, hariyalai Malai kofta, chicken tikka masala, butter cilantro naan (which had no cilantro), plain naan and rice. The sauce for the Kofta tasted like a dressed up tomato sauce. I tasted no coriander, no cumin, no garam masala spices like cardamom, cinnamon, or clove. None of the spices that I would expect. The kofta dumplings were soft but the sauce was not Indian at all! The saag paneer was bright green but again coriander taste nor the traditional methi leaves that I would normally taste. My husband's chicken tikka masala had no heat (even though we ordered medium spice) and the sauce had a very tomato taste as well. But the chicken was cooked well. We were so excited when we opened up the to- go containers because the food looked so fresh, but when we put it in our mouths we were so disappointed. I don't know why the chefs are dumbing down the flavors.

Very good authentic Indian food. The decor is awesome too. We came and ordered two meals two naans and an appetizer and that was enough to feed 4 people. We loved the taste of everything especially the shrimp. Something to note is that rice does not come with the meals so remember to order it if you want any. Just off of the main square so easy walking and great shopping around if you need to walk off your meal.Vegetarian options: They have great options for vegetarians. I love Indian food and this is a great spot near the town square to get vegetarian food.Parking: This is on a side street from the main square so parking is a little easier to find.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The slices of paneer in my dish were large and of good quality. Loved their channa masala too.

I don't get why this place is often empty. We went for dinner the other night and the food was delicious. Their different naans were perfection. We tried several vegetarian dishes and had a yummy salad with beets - very fresh. We ate in the restaurant and atmosphere is clean, comfortable and has nice wall decor. I did notice quite a few to go orders being picked up but if we are going to keep this lovely Indian restaurant open we really need to patronize it more and fill the brick and mortar place up!

If you're looking for something a little different while in Sonoma try Delhi Belly! It's also a great local restaurant and if you live here you can try takeout on a rainy day, like we did. We liked the cauliflower, coconut rice and all of the chicken dishes.

I’ve been to Delhi Belly several times in the past. But this review is about ordering Delhi Belly’s food via Uber Eats. Outstanding service and as always delicious food.I had the Ginger-Lime Chicken and the Cauliflower dish. Oh, so yummy! The chicken was nicely cut and so tender. And, I had a side of Papadams and Nan bread. Delhi Belly does a very good job of ensuring that delivery of food is hot and neatly packed, easy to unwrap and serve. If you’re thinking of ordering delivery, I recommend using Uber Eats, especially for Delhi Belly in the town of Sonoma.

I have ordered from this restaurant on door dash for a while and was finally able to come into the restaurant for the first time. It was even better in person! We had the lamb and cheese, the hariyali malai kofta, and i believe the lamb korma. This is one of the best indian restaurants I have ever been to. So lucky to live so close!

Great food and attention to detail. I got a dish that was too spicy for my level and instead of waste the food they brought out a cream mix that I was able to mix into my dish to make it more mild. I was then able to enjoy my food without feeling like my mouth was on fire.

All of their tomato based curries are made with some horrible tomato puree that makes everything taste like ketchup. It doesn’t taste at all like they use real tomatoes, making everything weirdly sweet and fake. Biryani was undercooked. Portions were small and overpriced.

What an amazing find! Just been wine tasting and really felt like a great curry. This place is the best. I had Chicken Biryani and my wife had the coconut chicken curry. Both dishes outstanding. Samosas to start - so tasty. If you are craving authentic Indian food - here it is. You will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: So many options available.
