El Dorado Kitchen

Our experience last night was flawless at EDK, the food was terrific, the service impeccable. Just the way we love to be!

Even after decades EDK continues to be our favorite restaurant in Sonoma. My husband said the paella was the best he'd ever eaten with perfectly prepared rice and a generous serving of seafood (he thought the plump mussels were especially amazing). I enjoyed the Black Tie cocktail (the cocktails are always very creative) and the carpaccio was crowned with a mound of rocket. Our waiter was welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is comfortable with an upscale California dining vibe. When you are in the Sonoma wine country, enjoy dining at the El Dorado Kitchen.

I couldn't have asked for a better pre-birthday experience, from the complimentary flute of bubbly to the delicious entrees, desserts and special attention from Manny, our adorable server. What a fabulous place to celebrate any day!

Outstanding! Simply outstanding! Paella was sensational, with perfect socarrot. Service was attentive, without being over bearing. We'll be back!

The service was exceptional. Everyone on our party enjoyed their meal. I had the frittata. I thought was very creative. More like around omelette with small cut potatoes, caramelized onions and a red pepper sauce underneath. Micro greens were on top. It was delicious and will order again.

We can't express how wonderful this place is. Best attentive service anywhere we've been here in Sonoma. The food and drinks are outstanding. It's a must for your visit!!!

Excellent service paired with an innovative, delicious menu. We truly enjoyed our dinner experience.

The food is fresh and menu is seasonal. The has never disappointed. The butternut squash soup was delicious. The pepitas added a nice crunch to the soup. The shrimp tacos were filling. We always try to come here when in Sonoma. Friendly greetings and service.

There were 6 of us. Everyone was happy with what they got. There was a yummy beet salad and crab cake, the butternut squash soup without the marshmallow (so so), burger and fries, chicken burger, and tostada. The birthday dessert (mine) was a perfect size and delicious! Our server was outstanding! Your food compares favorably to Girl and the Fig and may even surpass it! I'm a local and will definitely be back.

Great meal and excellent job by Mario. The paella was super tasty and ordered by 3/4 of us. The 1/4 is allergic to seafood so she had a fabulous filet mignon. The wines (sauv blanc and rose) could have had more flavor but weren't disappointing enough to change the overall score.

The restaurant looked beautifully decorated, and seasonally festive. We were seated right away and our server arrived to introduce himself as soon as we were seated. The food was well-prepared and presented.

Thanksgiving dinner was exceptional. The food was divine and the service iimpeccable. First Thanksgiving eating out ever and it was really wonderful.

Wonderful dinner on the patio. We had Paella and a beet salad. Food was delicious as always!

Food was great and perfectly served. Im a wine lover who wants his reds chilled, only down fall.
