I won a trip to the Fairmont and it was So Amazing! They had Everything here that is in a high end resort that you want! Everyone was outstanding that worked there. I would (and will) return when the weather is better. It was raining when I went but was Really cool because the room had a fireplace in it! We go out to a nice dinner and come back to the room to a warm fireplace! It was a Great stay! Stay here if you can, you will Love it!

Beautiful hotel run by an excellent team. High work integrity and effectiveness shows not only during day-to-day interaction but also how the team shows up to work on issues. We stayed there during the Thanksgiving long weekend. When the waitstaff at Sante (the restaurant) got a bit behind orders during Thanksgiving dinner, Justin, the Director of Operations, stepped in and helped out. The amenities are great, including the spa and heated pools, and the food is of high quality. We'll be back.

From start to end this was my best 2 day vacation! They welcomed us upon arrival with a glass of champagne and even left a bottle of champagne in our room for our anniversary celebration. Staff were friendly and warm throughout our stay. Breakfast was wonderful by the pool. And the dinner in the bar was lively and fun. The housekeeping was “spit spot”, really! from floor to tub to sink. Yey! We were able to swim in the large pool, soak in the hot tubs (those were an extra spa fee, but so worth it) and go bicycling on their hybrid type 18 gear? Bikes- they provide helmets. They offer free yoga and Pilates. I took the yoga. The teacher was experienced and very personal in her method. The fitness room had everything i needed to work out. The grounds are very well kept and Christmas decorations made everything super festive. I think the attention to detail and the welcoming attitude of each and every staff member was key to my overall great experience.

Great little shop in the spa for casual men's clothes. Small enough to see everything in 20 min, and good merch turnover so something new every time I visit. Friendly staff tops off the experience.

On a scale of 10, I'd give it a 7/8 - a step behind Four Seasons or some Ritz Carltons. The lobby is terrific. The restaurant is much too noisy. The spa is outstanding. Our guest room (with patio) was very nice but small for the price. Service was very good: friendly staff, eager to please but not quite first class.

We loved the lights, grounds, and staff. The cleaning ladies were very nice as well as the front desk. Really, everyone was very nice - bar staff, concierge (loved the house dog), and greeting staff too. While the pool is a good length for lap swimming laps, but they build the stairs at one end, so one is not able to turn easily. The room was nice felt a little cramp, but I guess to be expected from a historic place. Really, the only major downside was the noise from ground maintenace when we were having our committee meeting. We were inside the expansion tent area which worked very nicely until the machines unexpectantly showed up and made hearing impossible.

The facility was very dated, the people at the front entrance were rude and the therapist was great but talked through out the session. They had a new pool and are expecting a extensive renovation in the next few years.

The hotel lobby was very nice. Service was good. The rooms were nice and clean, but a bit small. You had to move the larger chair to get to the bathroom from the bed. Wine in the room was a nice touch. We met in the Pavillion. The food was good but some of it was not hot. It was very very loud during our meeting with the lawn mowers running outside. We needed to get microphones just to hear the person speaking. Having the bathrooms in lobby was strange.

The bed. Cannot say enough about the bed!! This place is absolutely gorgeous in the fall, with all the leaves turning. Staff is excellent, facial was great, massage was spectacular. The grounds are gorgeous. Dog friendly is a huge plus. Wine…. Ah, the wine!! They are great about suggesting delicious accompaniments with whatever you’re having. Love the cheese and charcuterie plate. Spa is so relaxing, just cannot say enough good things. I love this place!!!

The Spa is one of my favorites! I love their mineral pools. The staff are all exceptional! My massage was outstanding! This was my second time at the spa this year and we will be back again soon.

Stayed here 3 nights while visiting wine country. Great staff—Faye at the concierge desk was particularly helpful. Grounds are gorgeous, and rooms are spacious and clean. Bar is great, as is the lobby with the beautiful fireplace. Breakfasts ( which were included with our package) were tasty. Overall a very nice stay.

Great service, and lovely food but the hotel looks tired. Everything needs a paint. Esp the spa area! The whole spa needs a revamp. We had to pay $75 for a day pass and the saunas weren’t working. The indoor hot spring area really needs some maintenance and care if you expect people to may for a day pass on top of a $200+ treatment. My massage was average. Wouldn’t recommend

A dream of a hotel! We arrived to Sonoma for the first time, and from the start of the visit with the concierge, to the end of our stay, everything was absolutely phenomenal. Delise at the front desk is amazing, as well as Michael at Sante restaurant, are 2 wonderful people that welcomed us in so much warm and care. The grounds are beautiful, so well maintained, with plenty of fire places around. There is free coffee and tea around the main fireplace, with relaxing music every morning. On the weekends they have live music with a wonderful food truck. Every afternoon they are having free wine tastings! Our room was amazing, renovated and clean with a cozy real wood fire place. The location is very convenient and close to everything you might need, including wineries. Hands down, this was one of the most thoughtful and fun hotels we've ever stayed in! Every person in the staff is friendly and making you feel at home. Worth every single penny. We will come back here without any doubt. Thank you!

staff was receptive but didn't listen. rooms were quiet but rooms were not cleaned as was promised and no clean towels or coffee. Very poor service for the high price of a room. Paid for a balcony but didn't get a balcony with nothing more than sorry. Have to ask for for everything. Staff blames customers for any problems. I will never stay again. Hugely overpriced for the service. The Hilton is a much better value and better service.

The customer service was great. The employees work hard at this location which stands out in the service industry. We did have issues with a pending charge on our bill and found self-parking difficult. Our room was much smaller than we anticipated. So small that we didn’t spend much time in it because it felt claustrophobic. The spa was MUCH better than I expected. I should have revolved a half of a day at least to enjoy the hot springs pools. Bring a bathing suit because the pools stay hot even in early fall. The grounds are gorgeous yet the hotel is not close to downtown Sonoma which was problematic for us. We were glad we didn’t spend the whole vacation there. They have live music on weekend nights which was a nice touch. It’s great if you are going with a group of friends.
