Called for over 30 minutes and they will not pick up the phone

I ordered Mongolian beef from Golden Spring, and what I received was completely unacceptable. When I opened my meal, several pieces of the “beef” were raw and pink on the inside — clearly undercooked and unsafe to eat. I called the restaurant right away, and the person on the phone told me to bring it in so they could look at it.

When I arrived, instead of acknowledging the issue, the staff tried to tell me that the raw-looking meat was “the flower of the Mongolian beef” and that it was normal. I’ve had Mongolian beef many times in my life, and nothing about this looked or tasted normal. It was simply undercooked meat.

Not only was the food unsafe, but the way the situation was handled felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was essentially told that what I was seeing with my own eyes wasn’t real.

I won’t be returning, and I hope they take food safety — and honesty with customers — more seriously in the future. Someone else could have been misled and eaten the undercooked meat, which could have resulted in serious illness.

Best Chinese food that I have had in quite a while, very fresh. Egg Foo Yong excelent.

Take out: NO WHITE RICE - when I called to ask why, they said I did not ask for it (?!). I would have needed to purchase white rice for our three entrees.
