Best Chinese food in Sonoma county. Great fried rice! Mandarin and general Tao's chicken are amazing!

Tried to have lunch, again at opening time, and, failed, as usual because they never open at 11:30 like they say. Everytime I try, and they don't open on time, a few other customers are there also, and we all give up, and go elsewhere. The owners just don't know the meaning of dependability and punctuality, and it costs them lots of money in lost revenue.

11/10 atmosphere. Staff is sincere and kind. The onions have an authentic crispy char and enormous Easter eggs of ginger are a standout style. It’s a fun BYOB spot too in Sonoma Wine Country. This visit we chose @

I finally had the chance to stop by after a long time. Have been meaning to come here after completely forgetting this place. I used to come here often and loved coming with my family. It's definitely worth checking this place out. Everything we got was

Golden Spring Mandarin Cuisine is unspectacular, but not terrible. Hoping for a glimmer in the otherwise barren Asian food landscape of Sonoma, Golden Spring seemed a good lunch bet. Lunch specials range from $10.65 to $11.95, depending on your choice of protein. Each includes a cup of hot and sour soup, which was neither spicy nor astringent, and some sad fried wontons, which were not worth the oily calories. Also not spicy, the "Mongolian" beef should have been called beef with green and white onions. Devoid of any ambiance, the dining room is equipped with Formica topped tables that sport paper placemats with the Chinese zodiac (Year of the Dog, Horse, Dragon, etc.). Right out of a 1960s standard issue Chinese restaurant manual. If you have a desire for Chinese cuisine, save yourself the trouble: skip Golden Spring Mandarin Cuisine and just drive to Clement Street in The City.

This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant! I wish I would have known about this GEM years ago. The pot stickers were cooked to perfection and everything else I ordered was bursting with flavor. My wife even mentioned how she didn't feel bloated after, which had been the norm for us after we would eat Chinese food. Maybe it's the oil they cook with? We have only got take out but the restaurant itself is very clean and has a charming atmosphere. Try this place out. Youll be stoked you did...

I first went here in 2008. And returned so many times as I made my way home from work after many long grueling days. I live an hour and a half away now but recently stopped in after a visit to Sonoma. I was happy I did. I think the name drew me in but the food kept me coming back along with the kind and helpful staff. If you haven't tried this place be sure to check it out.

Take out: NO WHITE RICE - when I called to ask why, they said I did not ask for it (?!). I would have needed to purchase white rice for our three entrees.

Sweet and sour pork meat was low quality. Should've stuck to chicken. Everything else was good though. Pricey, but everything is pricey in

BEST Chinese cuisine in Sonoma, hands down. The hostess is always very kind in her greetings. I haven't had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant but from what I've experienced when picking up my orders, it's specious, clean and quiet.
