A group of us walked in this past weekend looking for good coffee, when we saw a sign in the sausage emporium saying, "The best coffee" we thought we had found the place!
Seconds later one of the owners, Miranda, greeted us very friendly-like and walked us to the coffee bar, moments later one of the girls in our group asked if she could use the bathroom and asked where it was, to which Miranda replied, "Oh don't do that. Don't you guys come in just looking for the bathroom if you aren't buying anything." Which took all of us girls by surprise. Every single one of us wanted coffee and was eagerly ready to order, all standing around the bar.
We all looked around each other in shock as Miranda's demeanor completely changed at that moment. Again, she reiterated that our friend needed to buy something before she could use the bathroom. Surprised and a bit embarrassed by her attitude towards us, five of us still bought the $7-9 coffee and left. The other two girls in our group walked to the Sunflower Caffe just down the block to get their coffee, I wish I had taken my business there as well.
Odd and awkward start to our day in Downtown Sonoma that definitely left a sour taste in all of our mouths, the coffee included.
Don't get your coffee here! Take your business to the sunflower Caffe instead! Their coffee AND service was better anyways!!

I stumbled upon this place because I was awaiting to go back on a wine tour that I was on. I ordered the breakfast burrito. Though a bit pricey, it was quite delicious. It was hot and the service was decent. No complaints

We had a disappointing breakfast here. The staff was very friendly, but the service was slow. Even though we arrived to an almost empty restaurant, our food took 55 minutes to come out. People who sat after us even got their food before us. A couple next to us, who ordered the same thing, was brought their food before us, sending the burrito bowl back because they had ordered a burrito. 10 minutes later, instead of a burrito, they brought me a burrito bowl. It was cold and I am fairly certain, could have been the same dish they had brought to the other table 10 minutes before. We ate it anyway because we had to go and couldn't wait any longer.
Avocado toast was very light on the avocado and heavy on the pickled onion. The bacon we ordered was half uncooked. The burrito bowl was good, but cold.
Overall, we were quite disappointed with our experience.

Pit stop on a long long drive. Delicious breakfast bowl, definitely get the crown bowl (chorizo is fire!) and they recommended a solid Russian River Pinot Noir to enjoy in the meantime. If you have the opportunity, stop by this place. Worth it 100%!

Service was personal and prompt. Biscuits and gravy were full of sausage flavor and they had a fun twist on their baked Mac n cheese.

Super cute place, perfect for lunch or a snack while you're out exploring Sonoma! Emporium Fries were SO YUMMY, and the sausages were super tasty. Tried the So Sonoma and the Texas Star and both were really good - highly recommend! They even have a sausage flight if you wan tot try them all. Owner was super friendly and service was fast.
Parking: Tons of parking around the main square, but I'm sure it gets busy during high season.
