Genuinely one the best places I've ever been. The food is amazing, it makes you happy to eat it, it makes your body feel good, I love it here. The staff are so kind, I was having a tough day and the woman who works there noticed and hugged me, she was so kind, and everyone who works there is very nice. You cannot go wrong eating here, amazing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE.... After passing through Sonoma numerous times, I finally decided to stop and give Juanita Juanita's a try. Patio was full as was the indoor seating but I got a fun little stool at the eat in counter, which just added to the fun, funky, ambience. Friendly service and delicious food. I started with the salsa (verde) and chips, moving on to a carne asada super burrito. The food was flavorful and uniquely seasoned. Quite an assortment of beers and soft drinks to choose from. Fairly priced and large size portions. In fact I had enough left over for a second meal. Juanita Juanita's, I'll be back.

Whether you're a local or just passing through town, Juanita Juanita 's is the place to dine. World famous salsa verde, and homemade chips, enchiladas, Guadalajara or seasonal tortilla soup! What ever you choose, you will enjoy. Friendly staff greets you as if you were family, this is my go to spot. It stays consistently good even over the decades. Treat yourself, treat your friends, treat your taste buds, you won't be disappointed. Very welcoming atmosphere with a lot of cool things on the wall.

Seriously. Good. Food. From someone who takes authentic Mexican food and spice seriously, this place is a go-now and go-again spot. Every time we have gone we have each ordered something different and have always been so delighted with the flavors presented in each dish. DO NOT LEAVE without having their signature Salsa Verde! No words...just have it and enjoy. Seriously. Good. Service. From the first time we visited, and every time since, you feel like you're a regular. The service is so friendly that you feel like you've known them for awhile. Always happy to refill your chips and the best salsa verde in Cali. Seriously. Good. Vibe. Outside has a cool worn out graffiti vibe while inside includes a cozy private outdoor patio and vibrant bohemian indoor eating area. Seriously. Go. Now. Like great Mexican Food? Like Great Service? Like a Great Vibe? Go, Enjoy!

Stopped in just before closing. Only a few tables occupied. Delicious burrito, friendly folks, reasonable prices, fun and funky spot. Love it.

Been eating here since 1995 when my family moved to Sonoma. Try the Chanchamito or the Super Burrito. Get the green salsa. Your day will be better.

This place is not worth the money! Very expensive and VERY small portions! I was so disappointed. they even charged me for the chips and salsa I had while I waited for my order!

Small hole in the wall on a busy street with limited parking. The name of the restaurant is written in large letters on the front of the business. However it needs repainting so badly we didn't see it initially. There is counter and table seating. To-go orders seem to be popular. The food was fresh and cooked to order. We had chicken and beef enchiladas. The meat was ok but the green sauce was not our preference. There was also way too much of it. Our enchiladas were swimming in it. We asked if we could have the red sauce instead but were told no. The salsa was also green. You're asked if you would like chips and salsa upon arrival. But you are charged for both and we didn't know until we received the check. The meal was served with rice and whole beans. Wished I had known because we also prefer refried beans, and could have substituted for extra rice. Didn't seem kosher to see the cook eating her lunch in the kitchen near the stove after making our order. Not sure if that is a code violation but my guess is it is. There is a sign above the menu on the wall welcoming customers to Sonoma but then it tells them to go home.
