Exceptional wines and service! They have nailed cabernet in this region!

This location is a must stop during our visits to Sonoma. Their wines are big and bold as I like them, some of the best cabs in the region.

We stumbled upon this place by complete chance and we were met with surprise after surprise. Who knew about Kamen’s history ! Maybe people do but we certainly didn’t. It was really interesting to learn about his past - starting all the way back in india in kashmir and ending at where he did - a winning screenplay writer and certainly a winning Cabernet for us! This was the best Cabernet we had in the region. Not overpowering yet so complex. Mark herold is a magician with his winemaking and Kamen himself is a magician given everything he touches turns to gold! Great stop. Andi hosted us at the tasting room and was a great story teller! We would highly recommend

Possibly the best cabs I’ve ever had.

What an amazing experience! We got to experience our tasting on the sky deck at the vineyard. Justin mesmerized us with his vast knowledge and humor while providing the vineyard history, the owner passions and great wine while looking at the pristine and expansive views. We were blessed to be greeted by Mr. Robert Mark Kamen himself during our experience. While screenwriting is his profession, his passion for wine is evident in every sip!

The best Cabernet Sauvignons we tried during our trip to Napa/Sonoma and the tasting was very well-priced. A must visit!

Some of the best Cabernet we tasted in Sonoma and Napa. The tasting is probably the best value for money in townA must visit

Loved the tasting room, the crazy stories of the owner/screen writer, and the wines. The wines are truly special and one should be prepared to pay a pretty penny for them. They are one of the best wines you will taste in Sonoma. But we did not like that after ringing us for $450 of wine that we bought, the person behind the bar gave us a screen to sign where the lowest tip was 15% on the entire amount. We found that a little tacky. It is ok to add a tip on the tasting fee of $25. But to add a tip% for the entire amount of the wines we bought was something that we have not seen anywhere is Napa or in Sonoma.

Wish we could have seen the vineyard BUT that didn’t impact our experience at all. We did the wine tasting at Kamen in town this past Saturday. We wish we had our guides name, but she was great! We got to see pictures and learned all about the estate. And the cabs are phenomenal. Highly recommend!!!!

Well we are wine club members so I guess we are a bit partial, but there is a reason we are members here. They're wine, particularly their cavernaise, are as good or better than anything in the Napa Valley. And as for the views from their mountain estate, they are unsurpassed by any. The private attentive service of the tasting on this mountain is pretty spectacular. And and a major shout out to our host Macaela for her friendliness and informative and fun tasting. Thank you!

Loved the tasting room in downtown Sonoma! It was recommended to us by another winery. Our host Kyle was very knowledgeable and did a great job of including us in conversation individually and with other tasters. We loved all of the wines, but the writers block was our favorite!

I really enjoyed visiting tasting room with my mom in December. We ordered some wine to be shipped home because we loved it so much. We had an issue with our order, as things happen, but it was addressed immediately by the manager, Kyle. Thank you Kamen and Kyle for the rare customer service received these days and following up with me. Much appreciated, we'll be back when we're in the area again.
