Poor customer service. Underwhelming. Do not recommend. Keep looking, there are better spots.

Underwhelming experience. Rude management. Do not recommend. There are many other local spots that have amazing food and better service.

Great service and delicious food! Came by with some coworkers after a work meeting to grab some lunch. Our client recommended us this place so we thought we'd give it a try! We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the place was pretty packed already for a Wednesday afternoon. We had a bottle of wine gifted to us by our client to try out for lunch, and was able to bring it in no problem. Our waiter offered to get us an ice bucket to keep our wine cold, and opened the bottle and poured it out for us as well! Throughout the meal he kept checking back in and making sure to refill our glasses anytime he noticed it was low/empty, which we really appreciated. As for the food, I decided to try the seafood paella as that was what we heard was the special here, and boy did it not disappoint!! I feel that no matter how many times I give it a try, paellas are always a hit or miss for me (mostly misses), but wow this was one of the best paellas I've ever had!! So flavorful and well seasoned, and the seafood was pretty big and fresh as well. The clams and mussels were pre-cut from the shell so it glided off so easily and the jumbo shrimps were so juicy! Will definitely come back here for the paella again, or maybe I'll try the carbonara next time!

Great spot in Sonoma. Service and food is good. The mixed salad appetizer is good for two people. Will definitely have the waffle again.

One of my favorite restaurants in all the land. Was there with my secret squeeze a couple Sundays ago about 3:30. Our server Kay was the absolute bomb, as are all the servers I've ever had there (maybe a dozen times). She was timely, funny, engaging, and most importantly for me...playful (meaning she laughed at all MY jokes, too). A superstar. The food was terrific as always, especially my Paella (clams, mussels, prawns, a couple salmon chunks), made in the Spanish (Spain) way with the crisped rice in a layer on the bottom of the skillet. Their incomparable brussels sprouts were not available -- I've been told the the ones they serve are locally sourced and seasonal -- heartbreak.

Great find in Sonoma - we came here for brunch, and loved the vibe with it's modern dinning decor. The brunch menu offered some really great comfort food favorites - I ordered the chilaquiles, which brings me to another good area of our experience, the portion of our meal was huge. There was no skimping here - we finished our meal content. The menu also included a wide selection in cocktails and beer, as well as wine. The service was great - they worked in tandem making sure our service needs were being met. I would recommend brunch here for anyone visiting the Sonoma/Napa area. Great experience and delicious food.

A classically yummy and fancy place to go for a meal. I went here for a work dinner and everything I got and shared was delicious! Pictured: Butterfly cocktail with a poured over purple tea, the interior- I love a good open concept and warm lighting, and seafood paella- tasty and huge! Not pictured but devoured: No-jito (mocktail mojito) was refreshing and flavorful Warm peach salad was really yummy! Each peach was nicely roasted and flavorful perfect for the end of the summer Burrata tomato salad was awesome and came with fresh pesto which we used for the bread as well Mushroom risotto was perfectly creamy with a nice variety of mushrooms! An awesome dinner, would come again!!

EDK is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Being local, it's definitely a go-to. Atmosphere is great. It's always hustling and bustling but not too loud that you can't enjoy a conversation at your table. Tonight we started with a carafe of Pinot and a couple of appetizers. I ordered the beet salad and my fiancé had the pork belly. The pork belly was so decadent. The beet salad was ok - it was a little arugula heavy (see pics) and a little light on the beets but it still was delicious. For dinner we had the beef short ribs and the filet. Both were so good. Our server Kay was amazing. So friendly, great personality, great service. Hope to sit in her section again. .

Don't people know that the rice in Seafood Paella is supposed to be crispy on the bottom and that is the way it is served in Spain--the home of Paella Bill Frazier--Frazier Winery

We came for Brunch... Like other diners, we are pleased with the service and the patio dining area was nice. However we are very disappointed with the food. As well as how many flies there were, zooming on us and the food. I'm not sure what can be done about that, but management should look into it. Half of our time was spent shushing flies away. We were so excited to try this spot... but the best thing on our table was the truffle fries. The fruit toppings soaked the brioche french toast and made it soggy. The duck confit hash was bland. The duck was dried and the hash was very oily. Another bland item was the marinated carne asada plate. I think they totally forgot to marinate the steak. The beans were sitting in water and the rice was dried out (like it was cooked yesterday and left uncovered).

What a fun little place for breakfast. The service was so fast, we had our latte in seconds! My eggs were great, even though somehow one was over-easy and one med-done! The arugula salad was refreshing and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. Reed's bagel with smoked salmon looked and tasted amazing! Great and friendly service!

Came for dinner with some friends after being in the square. Our waiter was very friendly and helped us pick what we wanted to eat. We always get some truffle fries because the ones here are just the best! We also ordered some wagyu beef carpaccio because our friends had not tried it yet and they really liked it. For dinner I got Housemade Fettuccini the sauce was just amazing on it. The poblano cream gives it a very distinct flavor and just goes well with the rest of the ingredients. My go to drink here is the clear conscience but be careful because it feels like you are just having cucumber water. We ended with their take of the creme brulee and the short bread cookie just makes it that much better. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. It is on the pricier side but it in on the square so we were expecting that. We will definitely be back.

Came here on a fluke as my hubby and I were visiting the area and were trying to find somewhere to eat. We stumbled across El Dorado and I'm so glad we did! We ended up sitting outside since it was such a beautiful day and their outdoor patio was perfect for the nice day. Everything starting from our wonderful server to the delicious food was a great way to end our day visiting Sonoma! Would I come back? Heck yes!!!! I want to try their brunch the next time.

This is a review on behalf of my wife and I. The 2 stars are for the food only. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the ceviche , risotto, and paella. The taste and quality of food was great. Service and staff get 0 stars. The hostesses were not particularly kind and did not seem very experienced. We had an older gentleman in the back as our main server. Due to Covid, we preferred outdoor seating and were led to the outdoor seating in the back. The table they sat us at had flies crawling/flying all over the utensils, napkins, and eating areas. Reasonably, my wife complained and requested to be reseated. After explaining to one of the waiters the situation, he did not apologize or reseat us, he simply said 'Oh, let me see if we can do that.' He really should have reseated us right away as this is a potential health hazard, but he said he wanted to ask another person... ok sure. Then the older gentleman came out and said 'Why do you want to be reseated?' My wife then re-explained the situation and again, instead of immediately reseating us, he looked at my wife and said 'Look, they are flying around you, it must be your hat!' This rubbed me the wrong way as we only wanted to be reseated, and instead, we received an insult. Could have been in jest, but still irritating. After insisting on being reseated, the older gentleman relented and said 'OK so where do you want to sit then?' Isn't that your job to know where to reseat us? The only reason why we didn't leave is because we both had a long day and were pretty hungry at this point. After finally sitting at a different outdoor table with no flies, we received our food, but without any sort of chit chat/ communication. No questions of 'how is the food?' Or 'are you guys doing ok?' He would place the food at the table and leave without a word. Very unprofessional behavior. Not certain if he was having a bad day, but this poor service/ behavior put a sour end to our day unfortunately. Do better.
