Wonderful food, great ambiance, and attentive service! If you can get a reservation here I highly recommend it. We had the Bacalhau no Forno, Caldeirada Portuguese Fisherman’s Stew, Feijoada, and Alcatra Portuguese Pot Roast. Every dish was amazing, and the dinner was our favorite for our time in Sonoma. They offer red and white wine flights, as well as port flights for after dinner. The desserts are tasty too.

I don't post reviews but LaSalette was the best experience, dining and service we had in Sonoma!

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant when visiting Sonoma! We had such a great experience the first night that we came back for our last night in town. The food is so incredible, creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented! Great wine list (and flights) and cocktails to accompany our delicious dinners. Even better is the service!! Both nights we had top-notch servers that were so friendly, attentive (but not intrusive) and provided excellent recommendations. This is hands down one of the best in Sonoma! What a hidden gem that we were so luck to find! Highly recommend them!

My friends and I loved the dishes we chose. They were rich and flavorful. The service was impeccable. We sat inside by the window and were very comfortable.

The fisherman's stew was absolutely delicious! The codcakes were also very yummy! Sangria was refreshing. We enjoyed our dinner so much! The servers were attentive and the ambiance was lovely. Will go again!

Great service, delicious food and cozy ambience. Every dish we ordered was superb and the wine selection was perfectly paired with our meal with the help of the sommelier. The last time I tasted Portuguese food of this caliber was during a brief visit to Lisbon, where I ate a Caldeirada de Peixe that I'd craved ever since.....and was finally was satiated by the food here at LaSallete. I live in SoCal, but hope to have a chance to return here again soon.

We were really disappointed with our experience here. We ordered the bacalhau & caldeirada. The bacalhau was extremely bland and inedible. The caldeirada was fine but not much flavor and nothing to call home about. Our server didn’t check with us about the food, let alone fill our water- mind you there were only 3 tables to serve at the time. For a fine dining experience, it was a waste of our money- both the food and the service. We are very disappointed our experience did not get close to all these great reviews.

This was one of the best places we ate at in the greater wine country surrounds. Pretty much everything was notably delicious, especially their chocolate dessert.

The service was good and friendly. The vibe of the place was decent enough, but their bathroom situation, being a shared bathroom outside the restaurant, leaves a lot to be desired. Sitting next to that exterior door opening and slamming shut was not great.

Would be happy to go back especially as a break from the almost too ubiquitous Italian and French options in the area.

Another good dinner at La Sallette. We've always encouraged an expanded menu at this restaurant, but last nite was exceptional with the regular menu. Starters did have a special and I had it.. fennel soup, rich with spaghetti strips of Iberian ham....just what the doctor ordered. Dining companions picked octopus ( my ususal ) and cod cakes (always order to share). Entrees... someone usually orders pork and clams and we share bites as everyone loves but wants to try other things... SIL ordered seafood stew and I went with the short ribs. Mouth is watering just remembering the experience. All superbly prepared with Manuel manning the garnish station, fussing plates to perfection, Thank you Manuel. It seemed to us that portions were more generous, actually took a bit home. New try was collard greens prepared with olive oil in a skillet in the very hot oven.. a winner. Our server was a vivacious young woman who confidently directed and instructed with our questions. She know the wine list and suggested the perfect matches to our described wishes. It would be your treat to dine with La Salette.

We both ordered the Portuguese pot roast as our main course and....wow!!! Dinner was unforgettable - we can't wait to do it again!!
