Peter Cellars is such a quaint little winery! Tyler was our sommelier and was hilarious, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Peter also came out to greet us during the tasting since he lives on the grounds. His 4 golden retrievers were the cherry on top for this tasting experience. I visited as part of the Edge of the Word tour (shoutout to Anya).

My boyfriend and I stopped at Peter Cellars last month as part of an all day wine tour. Truly some of the best wine we’ve ever had. We ended up ordered a whole case to have at home. The rosé, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon are all stellar. We’d definitely come by again if we’re ever in the area - both for the wine and the wonderful pups :)

I’ve visit this winery as part of guide tour. This was our 1st stop! The wine itself is amazing very nice! However, the wine tasting guide was off on Monday when I went and Peter himself hosted us! All I can say is that he is a man of a few words! Tbh it felt awkward a bit as he is clearly introspective and shy and doesn’t like to host the tastings. Very brief.

The wine was unlike anything I had before. Light and fresh! This place is not very common so you find a more peaceful and relaxing experience.
The wine here was lovely. The experience was…lacking. Peter’s dogs were great, but they jumped on a woman who was obviously scared of them and Peter did little if anything to accommodate. Throughout, Peter gave off the vibe that we were lucky to be in his presence. He didn’t share much about the wine making process or tasting notes. I didn’t really care to hear multiple times how many double golds he has or how much better he is than the other wineries. But the Pinot noir was nice.
