I came in for the Figcello, which is terrific. But the star of the show is the Violette brandy liqueur. Not too sweet, and smooth, elegant, delightful. I definitely recommend it.
Very nice place. Great staff. Unique spirits. Ended up buying the Julep ready to pour and the Guava liqueur.
Stopped in for a tasting for my gf’s birthday. The tasting was great and well presented. It’s in a very convenient location downtown.
The best Gin I have ever had .. PINK! It puts Monkey Gin to shame. The Vodka, and all Gin combinations are in our home. Great customer service and ownership.
Great products made by great people.
My wife and I are on a two week road trip adventure. We first stopped at an area winery. I’m not the wine drinker in our house, I actually hate wine. The winery referred us Prohibition Distillery for local spirits. We actually drove passed it on our way to the winery. Prohibition is tucked back in a small mall area called Cornerstone. Get this place on your radar. There were several neat stores. Once we found the establishment, we were greeted by, “the guy who makes” all the yummy stuff! He was very friendly. Very informative. Spent plenty of time with us describing all the refreshment options. I heard they made vodkas so I was interested In those. Oddly enough, my interests shifted. We started with the sampler draws (6 quarter shots). I can’t name all that we tried but they were all good. I’m not a gin guy but what they’ve made, made me a believer. We walked out with a bottle of their melon/cucumber gin and a bottle of their limoncello. The melon/cucumber gin was simply outstanding. Prohibition is well worth the stop. Their products are good. They are friendly and you’ll probably walk out with a few bottles like we did!!
This is a small tasting room, off the beaten path. As soon as you open the door, you are surrounded by lovely aromas. The employee was helpful and informative. This was a nice experience after visiting wineries all day. Stop by if you want a change of pace and a different type of alcoholic beverage.
