Go here if in the area! Great customer service, delicious food. We had the mortadella and massimo paninis. Both were great. And some foccacia too. So tasty. Not to be missed!

Fantastic! Wonderful service, real small business, and delicious and creative sandwiches! We had the turkey sandwich with a delicious aioli. Highly recommend for sandwiches or for homemade pastas and gourmet charcuterie.

There are places to eat and there are places that redefine what it means to eat. Salumeria Ovello is one of those rare places.Chef Andrea Marino is this friendly, amicable magician who turns dough into fluffy focaccia and meats into slices of heaven. Everything here is handmade, fresh, and impeccable. To bypass this restaurant is a mistake. The humble sandwich, here at this place, is elevated to its highest form. The Porchetta is divine, the Emerie is a masterpiece. Try the salami and indulge in their lemon ricotta cake. Everything here is delightful.Salumeria Ovello is a must-stop destination if you are in the Sonoma/Napa area. It is a place I will be going back to as often as I can, a place that will haunt my dreams.

My husband treated us to a pre-Thanksgiving treat of Chef's Beef Wellington! It was delicious! Can't wait until next time. So many yummy things to try at Ovello. Tiramisu is a favorite!

This is a tray for 5 people. It was delicious. Sorry the photo was taken after people already tried a few things. The cured meats are exceptional as is everything else. The fruit was very fresh. I’ve also tried the Porchetta, salads and a few other items over the last 2 years. Everything I’ve tried has been exceptional. The service is great as well. I called and picked up on days they are not open.

We stumbled upon this little salumeria during a business trip. What a great find! We tried the Porchetta and turkey panini on house made focaccia. They are exceptional! Also everything on the menu looks so authenticly Italian. They made everything in house. Too bad we are here only shortly so could not try everything. Started talking to the owner Andrea, and he brought out a couple of pieces of cotechino he just made for us to try. OMG! It's so good. I will try my best to stop by every time I'm in the area.

Perfectly airy light & slightly crispy fresh foccacia which makes any of the sandwiches a delightful treat. Order more than 1 sandwich as the tasty meats & airy foccacia will make you want to eat more. Adding Ovello to my "must-visit" when in Sonoma list.

I had no idea this place was here, but I believe they were recently closed for four months and just had a grand re-opening.Wife and I ate one of the best Italian sandwiches of my life today (panini on flatbread). Far and away the best sandwich I have ever had in Sonoma, and for what it is worth I lived in Italy for 6 months and ate my way through much of the country. The owner/chef is Italian. This place is authentic, clean, and delicious.I also ordered some of the wild boar salami and it is to die for. I am so happy this place is in Sonoma, and I have a feeling I will be here 2-4x a month for the foreseeable future.

This is Chef Andrea. I am back at Ovello and we re-opening on June 29, 2023 at 11 AM. Check out our website for more information. I'm looking forward to seeing you back at Ovello.

I so wanted to like this place and was so disappointed. I bought some sliced Speck and some sliced truffle salami. Even if I ignore the fact that it took the assistant 10 minutes to slice <4oz of each, I couldn’t ignore that she did a very poor job of slicing. The ham fell apart and the salami came in chunks. As to the taste, the Speck was very good but the salami was very fatty and there was no truffle taste at all.

Food and service have changed...Doesn't appear that Chef Andrea is still working his magic. Food is not the same. Menu is more limited. Recently ordered Cannoli and they were tough and dry and the filling was not light and fluffy. Disappointing.
