Came in almost at open, one table ahead of us. Took 45 minutes to get food. I get it - skeleton crew on a Thursday. But the food left a bit to be desired. Menu options were a little limited - mostly sandwiches. Food came out and it was a bit cold. Garlic fries just were normal fries with globs of unmelted garlic thrown on top. The pulled pork "grilled cheese" was two slices of Kraft cheese sandwiching cold pork that didn't have much flavor to it. Maybe we came on an off day!

One of the best smoked brisket sandwiches I’ve had. So delicious! Even the coleslaw side was great, with the perfect touch of horseradish for a great taste. Owner is very personable as well. Highly recommended.

Yikes!! Sorry to give a bad review but this place is a definite skip. We visited for lunch and were served by a gentleman who seemed to be both the chef and owner. He is a very charming man both in his manner and service. However, the food is horrible. This is simply not barbecue. No seasoning, virtually no smoke, cooked in an oven, (according to him) and poorly reheated. Bad Caesar dressing as well. Come here and have a beer and enjoy his good company. But... stay away from the food.

Whenever we visit Sonoma, this is a must for lunch! The food is bbq and is absolutely AMAZING! The owner, Matthew, just adds to the ambience as does his cooking. Try the garlic fries!

Really cute roadside grill I heard about on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. Stopped in for lunch and had a tasty patty melt and the fries were delicious. Great relaxed atmosphere I'll be back the next time I'm in the area for sure.

Got the Painted Hills Ranch Burger. Was one of the best burgers I've had! The service was amazing they quickly got us our food, and just did a great job overall.

Best place EVER. Came here 3 years ago with my crazy girlfriend. I called and he said he was closed but waited for us anyway. The year after I brought my whole racing team there, we stayed 3 hours past closing time. Today he was closed, called him, he reopened just for us...its currently 1am and were still here drinking...8hours past closing time. One thing; take that fence down
