Love the staff! Always attentive. Wish the menu would change a little as its been the same for a long long time (rather than just having a few specials)
While we did like the food, especially one of our guests who really enjoyed the crab legs, we felt like we weren't really wanted there. Maybe because we only wanted light appetizers and a bottle of wine for the 5 of us? We tried to move quickly but we felt rushed and pushed out. Luckily our guest didn't realize it but we did. Otherwise would have loved to have stayed longer and order a full meal next time. Maybe not.
Great place for lunch. Salmon salad portion size was huge. Staff were limited English speakers but very warm and friendly.

Food was lacking in flavor from apps to mains. Outdoor space was nice but there was a rat that kept creeping around which made it hard to enjoy the evening. Service was a bit slow. Maybe good for lunch? Dinner… pass. Too many great places around to waste your time at a place that is mailing it in.

Excellent experience, wonderful service atmosphere and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Everything was great - service & food; except we thought the calamari was marginal, had too much coating, calamari was very small.
The prime rib was excellent, I had the mussles which was very satisfying. The service was very good.
I had the ricotta spinach ravioli with the lemon grass cream sauce. It was delicious. Then for dessert I had warm chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato. Very yummy 😋 Staff was very good and attentive. We will be back.
Best value spot off the Sonoma Square, great family friendly restaurant

We had a fantastic lunch at Sonoma Grill. We sat down at the bar and were greeted right away by the wonderful bartender. Drinks were great, and the hot seafood platter w shared was delicious. Also enjoyed a salad with pears and candied walnuts, and dipped some bread in olive oil enhanced with garlic and some oregano. Friendly staff with fantastic service. Would go to Sonoma Grill again in a heartbeat!

Great variety all prepared well. The burrata was great with berries. We had a salmon special that I would eat every day. Look forward to eating there the next time I am in Sonoma.
Food was good. Service as expected. Steak overcooked, but flavorful. Reduction sauce was delicious. Did not like the shrimp cocktail sauce, weird flavor to it.
Highly recommend this place for afternoon lunch or dinner. We had the prawn pappardelle pasta and spinach and mushroom linguine and it was fabulous. The ambience is superb for very laid back vibe to enjoy time in Sonoma after visiting the area with a glass of their own wine. 🍷
And thank you to Nima dai and the staff for their wonderful hospitality and complimentary bottle of wine . 😊
Cheers from Australia.

My husband and I visited with my aunt a couple years ago and enjoyed it so much. So finally after two years my and husband and I decided to have night expecting the same level of delish we experienced before. I soon found out the entree I ordered (filet mignon) was not the same as in mash potatoes and asparagus was no longer served with entree. I was able to get over that, however, the taste was different. The flavor was not there anymore, and the filet mignon had a bit of “unchewable” parts of it. My husband shared the same sentiments regarding his ribeye, in that it lacked all the flavor as before. We sat too close to trees, which meant we had to fight over our food with flies. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful outside seating area and if we enjoyed the food we would sit outside again, just not close to the trees. Our waiter was kind and polite. But we decided we will not be visiting again. If we're paying $100 or more for a meal, we need to be able to rave about it.
Sonoma Grille is an upscale but affordable restaurant with parking (a bonus in Sonoma). The wine list is reasonable and the menu is varied. If you are fortunate to be there on rack of lamb special day and like lamb, do order it! The restaurant has a full bar with a talented bartender. The patio is the place to be when the weather is warm.
