Sonoma Grille is so excellent...I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner and staff are so welcoming and thoughtful. The drinks are excellent, the food is fantastic, it can get loud but that's part of the fun! Great bar...the lamb shank was delicious, the mussels were amazing and the linguini with prawns was sooo good. Don't miss going here. A Sonoma staple.

Everything "matches" at The Grille which makes it a go-back place. Service, environment and food. Service is done with smiles; environment is comfortable; food enjoyable. Plus, Nina, the bartender, can make a great cocktail. The professionalism of restaurant shines. Quick note: Their flat bread is a great appetizer for the table or can even be a lunch entree for one. Lots of choices for everyone for both lunch and dinner.

While we did like the food, especially one of our guests who really enjoyed the crab legs, we felt like we weren't really wanted there. Maybe because we only wanted light appetizers and a bottle of wine for the 5 of us? We tried to move quickly but we felt rushed and pushed out. Luckily our guest didn't realize it but we did. Otherwise would have loved to have stayed longer and order a full meal next time. Maybe not.

The Sonoma Grille has been a favorite since we’ve vacationed in Sonoma over the years. It is within walking distance of lodging and Sonoma Square. We enjoy sitting at the bar; the cocktails are yummy and the service is always great! A generous portion of hand dredged Calamari was fresh and came with 2 sauces. The Pepperdelle was flavorful and the tiger shrimp were a nice size. The beet salad was fresh and hit the spot. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. This restaurant does not disappoint.

Food was lacking in flavor from apps to mains. Outdoor space was nice but there was a rat that kept creeping around which made it hard to enjoy the evening. Service was a bit slow. Maybe good for lunch? Dinner… pass. Too many great places around to waste your time at a place that is mailing it in.
