We wandered in from the sweet sweet smell of waffle cones. Which was a solid decision. The waffle cones are amazing! Worth the extra $1. The ice cream was pretty standard but still great.

OMG the salted carmel ice cream is the bomb. Thought about a 2 scoop cone but purchased a pint instead. Inhaled the whole thing in the car before leaving. Great quality.

Definitely a must, I love homemade ice cream they always have some amazing combinations. My husband and son got the peanut butter Oreo and wow it was good. I got the watmaugh farm strawberry and it was amazing, seemed to have strawberry pieces in it I think? The service was ok, the girls seemed a little unhappy (no smiles). If you're walking around and seemed to smell something sweet, this is probably the location. The sweet smell of waffle cones was in the air and is what drew us in. We were already stuffed from lunch but how can you even pass up a location that smells this sweet and it's freshly made!

This place has scrumptious house churned ice cream, in a selection of classic and seasonal flavors. The kids love to get a cup or cone and take it to the plaza to enjoy! They have ice cream cookies, dog treats, ice cream cakes, shakes and even coffee. If you are looking for above par ice cream, look no further!

I was in Sonoma Square celebrating my girl's bday and it a was a great day to have a few scoops. I must say Sweet Scoops hit the spot. I sampled their Berry Cheesecake and Butter Brickle (most popular). Both were excellent choices on this sunny day in the Square. The park being nearby is great place to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Great way to spend a sunny Sunday!

Sweet Scoops is hands down one of my favorite ice cream spots in Sonoma County. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious. It's dense but light at the same time and not too sweet which is such a hard balance to create. Flavors: I really like the coffee flavors and my brother loves the cookies and cream. If they have the local strawberry, absolutely try it. You won't be able to get that local flavor anywhere else. The flavors are always changing but always always sample some of their unique flavors (like the dulce cinnamon crunch) because they always do an amazing job with them. You can always do two half scoops for any of the sizes too! The service. Every time I've been, the people serving are always so kind and helpful. I'm never rushed and appreciate that I can sample so many flavors. The space is also very very cute. Pro - tip: definitely pick up on of their pints before you leave so you can enjoy some more Sweet Scoops at home. Enjoy!!!!

Cute little ice cream shop in the downtown area. Lots of different flavors to choose from and was reasonably priced. You can definitely tell it's homemade as the taste is on point. Will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town.

We stumbled upon Scops as we strolled around Sonoma. I'm glad we did.The ice cream texture is dense, creamy, and smooth without any ice crystals. We were able to taste so many flavors, and each was so good the we could not decide, ao we ordered a 3 scoop flight with butter brickle, raspberry, and chocolate. They were all excellent. I especially loved the raspberry, which tasted fresh and tart and, well, like a real raspberry. If you're wanting ice cream in Sonoma, you can't go wrong with Scoops

I am the wife of an ice cream connoisseur so although ice cream is not the first choice of dessert for me, I have visited many ice cream shops in my 20+ marriage. After checking the reviews and seeing that the Sweet Scoop served homemade ice cream, we decided to check it out even though we were still full from dinner. They let you try samples and we bought the flight of 4 half scoop flavors. It was really delicious and creamy and not too sweet, which is what we prefer. Our favorites were the lavender fig and cafe creme brulee. Our daughter's favorites were the dark chocolate chip and raspberry mixed together. Super cute shop with great tasting, not too sweet ice cream. Next time I'd love to try an ice cream milkshake!

There are many ice cream flavors, and the split option is very considerate. You can choose two flavors without eating too much. It is very satisfying to pair with chocolate waffle cone.
