We made a reservation for 1:45 pm and they told us we could only stay until 2:30 because they had an event. If they have private reservations they shouldn't offer reservation to the public. The hamburger was delicious, but ceasars salsa and the avocado toast was awful. It is not worth at all what we paid for. The waiter was very nice, but the hostess has a bad treat to customers

Brunch was inventive and delicious! I would highly recommend the food. The ambience was lovely outside in a courtyard area. The bar was extremely loud on a Saturday during college football. Therefore if you want a relaxing Saturday brunch, sit outside or try another restaurant. Unfortunately the service was not as strong as one would expect from the caliber of this restaurant. I requested the starter before the main meal and everything was brought out at once. When our bill was brought out, we received someone else's as well as ours. If flying insects bother you, we did have bees that were quite interested in our table.

I celebrated my anniversary here while visiting Napa. Was excited about dining near the hotel so we could enjoy and not have to worry. Every step of the dining process took a long time. It was vacation so I was okay with that. By the time the food came, I was so hungry and excited - I had ordered two dishes with heirloom tomatoes! The burrata salad was amazing, albeit a somewhat small portion. The heirloom tomato summer pesto squash was incredibly disappointing. It came out looking bright green with blobs of veggies - none of which were tomatoes. I realized quickly why the waiter was hesitant to make suggestions when I had originally asked - because there was a new executive chef who was testing things. I asked where the tomatoes were and that was the response. Next, the double cut pork chop with brussels sprouts - which I think had a total of 1 sprout separated by leaves and they looked sad and brown. Given the slow service and an early flight we had to catch the next day, we needed to just move forward. I later asked the manager about it because it's not the waiters fault that the food was sub-par and he scrambled through a response and how the menu wasn't accurate - info that would have been nice to know when ordering.

We really enjoyed our experience at Layla! Thankfully, we reserved our table two weeks prior to our vacation. The food and the service was outstanding! The outdoor seating and ambience was tranquil and very comfortable. We will recommend to any friends that choose to vacation in Sonoma!

While the total dining experience was very good, it was slightly disappointing given our previous visits. While nothing was unsatisfying, nothing warranted 5 stars. Caesar salad and Layla burger were excellent. We'll return in the fall.

Loved it ! Food was pretty good but the vibe was perfect. We were staying at MacArthur so it was very cozy to hang in the back patio with wine all night and then walk back to our room. Staff was super nice. Shout out to the Host & Amanda at the bar !

The food was excellent and very tasty but the delivery of our main course was very slow. We appreciate the additional food provided. Better communication from our server would have made the experience top notch. Place was not busy inside but I think the outside volume of guest caused our problems.
The food is subpar compared to the lovely hotel and restaurant ambiance. The outdoor patio is lovely as well as the desserts, pastries and coffee bar. The food is pretty flavorless and does not do the place justice. Service is spotty as well. Waited 50 min for 3 burgers when the place was not all that busy. Unless they make some changes I will eat elsewhere upon my next stay.

Service was terrible. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone came up to us. It took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and multiple other tables got their food even though we arrived first. The waiter apologized once but did not give any explanation. Would not come back again.

Beautiful spot, the hostess was SO kind! They tried to accommodate our party disability and place us in a quiet spot unfortunately a large party came in later and they had to place them next to us but they tried accommodate! The food was delicious and the coffee was divine! Really beautiful spot!

Beautiful evening on the patio. Wed is free corkage, a nice surprise. Food was excellent, service was attentive andfun, not intrusive. Wide selection of choices should meet most diners' needs. A very comfortable place to spend an evening enjoying the setting and well plated food (fairly large portions). They easily accommodated my wife's dietary needs.

My friend's BLTA was excellent. My Ceaser salad had nice big grilled shrimp and several whole anchovies, BUT, the dressing was bland and totally lacking in the expected Ceaser salad dressing flavor.
