A great add on activity in between wine tastings!
We booked this cheese making class and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was laid out and planned. They served wine and non-alcoholic drinks. The facility is clean and nice. Has a bathroom for guests. Ben was excellent at explaining and providing instructions without being overbearing or too vague. He was great with the teen we had with us. We made butter and cheese and couldn’t stop eating it. So watch out for spoiling your appetite before a lunch or dinner booking. I would recommend doing this early into your trip since you get to take the butter and cheese with you. Makes for great snacking or breakfast material. You get to add flavors to the cheese and a huge table with all sorts of local and global spices is at your disposal. We enjoyed mixing and matching various flavors, all turned out yummy.

There is a free parking lot right in front. We were able to park there during the class. Highly recommend it - go learn something and eat it!

Extremely informative and enjoyable cheese making class. Bonus lesson in making butter. Ben was a great teacher and very friendly. Would highly recommend if you have any interest in making things yourself.

A friend and I recently attended the ricotta- and butter-making class, and it was absolutely delightful! Ben & Sheana brought so much earnest enthusiasm to the class. They were incredibly personable, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of their prior experience. It was clear that they not only know their stuff when it comes to cheese, but they also genuinely love sharing their knowledge about local fare. They indulged my food questions with recommendations from where to find the best strawberries to the must-try bread at Sonoma market. These personal touches made our weekend in Sonoma extra special. By the end of the class, we felt confident and excited to try our hand at cheese making at home. If you're looking for a hands-on, educational, and fun experience, I cannot recommend The Epicurean Connection highly enough!

My friend and I took a class for Ricotta cheese and butter making. Ben greated us when we arrived early, and gave us details on the class and what to expect. Ben exceeded our expectations! He gave us a demonstration for each category and allowed us to participate as much or as little as we wanted. The end results were very good with the taste and texture of the ricotta as well as the butter. We received detailed instructions for the ricotta, and Sheana provided us with the recipe for butter. All in all it was a very nice afternoon spent with someone who obviously loves what he does. I highly recommend Ben and Sheana.

Sheana & Ben are simply amazing. First thing when they greet you at the door is with a refreshing beverage. This has been one of the best adventures we have done in Sonoma. We learned how to make ricotta and butter ! Sheana & Ben were so polite and personable. If you’re ever in Sonoma, this is a must do!

What an amazing place to make cheese! Sheana and Ben are some of the most friendly folks you'll ever meet, but their love and knowledge of all things culinary will blow you away. The cheese-making class is worth it just to spend 2 hours with them learning all about interesting flavors they've come across recently, hearing their stories, and just having a great time (and as a bonus, you get to walk away with a ton of delicious cheese!)We'd go back and do this again any time, highly recommend if you're in the area! They're very close to downtown Sonoma and well worth the visit. Thanks Sheana and Ben!

Ben hosted us for a cheese making class. It was a great experience that taught us how to make amazing homemade fresh cheese with our own seasoning. I really recommend this experience. They also have a great retail shop with plenty of local products.

Great experience learning to make cheese! Shawna was fun and knowledgeable and made us feel able and fully equipped to tackle cheese making at home.A must do for those looking for something not wine-based in Sonoma!Definitely more than bargained for with this experience!

My girlfriends and I spent a wonderful afternoon drinking wine and learning to make cheese with Sheana and Ben at The Epicurean Connection. The class was fun, but also practical in that making cheese is very doable at home. If you are going to be in Sonoma, take advantage of this entertaining experience!
