We wanted to start the 2024 New Year special with the Epicurean Connection. We had taken a cheese class from Sheana and Ben last year. Therefore, we knew the mozzarella class would be perfect for us. Sheana and Ben warmly greeted us into their professional culinary kitchen and world. Every attention to detail was prepared for making mozzarella. Sheana demonstrated various mozzarella techniques. She also taught us how to create beautiful burrata pouches worthy of fine dining. We worked hard and happily flexed our muscles. Sheana is a culinary genius and shared her wealth of knowledge. Thank you Sheana and Ben for starting our New Year 2024 with gusto! We (Southern California cousins) had a memorable and fun time!

What an amazing place to make cheese! Sheana and Ben are some of the most friendly folks you'll ever meet, but their love and knowledge of all things culinary will blow you away. The cheese-making class is worth it just to spend 2 hours with them learning all about interesting flavors they've come across recently, hearing their stories, and just having a great time (and as a bonus, you get to walk away with a ton of delicious cheese!)We'd go back and do this again any time, highly recommend if you're in the area! They're very close to downtown Sonoma and well worth the visit. Thanks Sheana and Ben!

Ben hosted us for a cheese making class. It was a great experience that taught us how to make amazing homemade fresh cheese with our own seasoning. I really recommend this experience. They also have a great retail shop with plenty of local products.

Great experience learning to make cheese! Shawna was fun and knowledgeable and made us feel able and fully equipped to tackle cheese making at home.A must do for those looking for something not wine-based in Sonoma!Definitely more than bargained for with this experience!

What an amazing time we had with The Epicurean Connection!!! Sheana and Ben were lovely and generous and we loved learning to make cheese and eating our way through the afternoon with treats they shared with us (as well as the cheese we made). We did this as a team building event and HIGHLY recommend! See you next time

Sheana hosted us for our company team building event and we all had the best experience! Sheana and her husband made our Cheesemaking class so much fun! They were the best hosts and greeted us with local wine and cheeses to sample as we cooked. Many laughs and great memories. Thanks Epicurean!!

The experience started with choosing our individual charcuterie board. Then spending 1.5 hours drinking wine and creating our own boards while tasting everything. The cheeses and meats were top notch. We then boxed everything to take home. But wait there's a gorgeous dinner with house made lemon butter. We were stuffed and I couldn't believe I could eat dinner. But wait, there's more. Dessert was apple crumble and whipped cream to die for. But wait, there's more. She sent us home with 5 flavors of macarons. I can't believe we ate as much as we did. And still bringing home 2 bags of food and dessert.

We stopped by while on "the cheese trail" they were teaching a cooking class that day and were not open but they took the time to step out and talk to us invite us in and share some of their delicious cheeses, knowledge and sold us some items. Top notch costumer service. Thank you

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is a must do. The experience was absolutely fun. Our hosts and owners of Epicurean Connection, Sheana and Ben, were a wealth of knowledge and so helpful. From the little tips and tricks of making the curd to the timing and many mixtures possible to flavor the cheese, they were most helpful! The venue is perfect for team building venues to bachelorette parties. They can accommodate a bunch and have a little store to sell additional goodies. For our group of 4, we made 13 quarts of cheese and each of them flavored differently - Garlic EVOO, blueberry basil, honey habanero, plain naked, truffle, and vanilla bourbon to name a few. The endless variety of seasonings allows you to make something you desire and very unique batch to batch! There are six making stations a seasoning station and poker table to view the fun! If you are planning a trip to Sonoma, are cheese fans, are foodies, are interested in doing something different, are looking for a team building event, or just want to learn how to make your very own cheese, you must give this a try! Located about 8 blocks off the downtown square, it is easily accessible by all. It takes about 90 minutes and is a far better experience than some Wineries I've visited. Give Sheana and Ben a call!

Their cheese making classes are a lot of fun! The owners Sheana and Ben are really good at what they do, including giving clear instructions and being friendly and chill. They're sweet folks. I arranged for a group cheesemaking class as part of my girlfriend's birthday party. She was so happy, and many of the guests kept on saying with glee "This is great"! I think the classes would make a nice romantic activity for a couple, but I can tell you it's a memorable group event. I definitely recommend this for the person or people in your life who value shared experiences more than things. Particularly if they're into food. The cheese making is easy with simple steps that keep you engaged. During the preparation there is time for laughs and banter, but I advise paying attention to Ben and Sheana when they are giving instructions to get the best cheese in the end. The fresh ricotta we made was sooo much tastier than store bought! You get to sample and choose the spices you want to add, which is part of the fun. And the class started off with a glass of wine which set things off nicely. They do have a small shop next door to stock up on other goodies to go. And their prepared food is delicious. We had a wonderful time.

We had so much fun learning how to make cheese at the Epicurean Connection! Ben was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He also had many amusing anecdotes and local tips to share! We left with full bellies, several containers of tasty cheese, and goodies bags for future cheesemaking. P.S. Highly recommended for a cool indoor experience on a hot summer day!

My girlfriends and I spent a wonderful afternoon drinking wine and learning to make cheese with Sheana and Ben at The Epicurean Connection. The class was fun, but also practical in that making cheese is very doable at home. If you are going to be in Sonoma, take advantage of this entertaining experience!
