It was a lovely day in Sonoma but being seated inside wasn't the best. Our waiter was not very knowledgeable about the wine or food. The duck confit was wonderful, the refreshing watermelon salad was on point. The first steak came out cold after being cooked to medium but after being sent back the second steak was perfect. Drinks were delicious and the fresh bread was yummy.
What a wonderful experience after years of not coming by (shame on me). Tasty fresh food wonderful outdoor dining. This is a high bar on the preparation and food quality.
We always love driving from Danville to Sonoma for brunch at The Girl and the Fig! We ended up seated at the bar, which we love. We can always count on great food and wonderful service.
Had a great birthday lunch for my wife with both my boys. It's not often everyone loved the food and there were zero complaints.
Ambiance is great, service is top notch, the bar is very good and the food is clean and most often a 4.75-5. Only downside is the expense, but what else would one expect, right?
A perfectly charming lunch spot on the square in Sonoma! My wife and I shared the famous Fig & Arugula Salad (we always get this!) and a Cheese & Fruit plate. Both were delicious. The Rhône wine selections are a nice twist, as I was able to try a glass of Picpoul for the first time (a great alternative to the ubiquitous Sauvignon Blanc!), and finish off with the outstanding Pride Syrah.
Food was very good and great service. Enjoyed dinner with family and friends while on vacation.
Eating at The Girl and the Fig was delightful from beginning to end. Delicious food, great service by Dennis, and pretty setting. Can't wait to go back.
Our experience was overall very good with a couple of gliches. The bread accompanying the pork pate was very hard (probably at least 3 days old) and completeley unedible. The salad dressing did not appear to have oil. MY wife enjoyed the flounder meuniere.
Came here for a birthday celebration, we decided to do it family style, tasting a bit of everything. We all agreed the Pork Schnitzel was one of our favorites along with the Steak Au poivre, Wild Flounder, Honey Roasted peaches and ouefs mimosa all so so good!! Fun and pretty twilight ambience on the back patio. Our server Liberty was great.

Absolutely incredible :) highly recommend to anyone looking for a special place to celebrate something
This restaurant came highly recommended from vlogging videos I had watched. We had a delicious lunch here! We had yummy mocktails, the wagu beef and shrimp roll - all great! The atmosphere was nice as well - quiet, calm, and casual enough to not feel uptight. We very much enjoyed our delicious lunch here!
Nice place, cool atmosphere. Were there for the breakfast. Croissants are so delicious.
Nice location on the corner of Sonoma Plaza! We had a reservation but arrived 25 minutes early and were seated immediately. We dined on their patio and there's plenty of heaters so when the sun starts to set don't hesitate to ask your waiter for the heat.
We ordered starters, two entrees, and dessert. The soup and bread were excellent! The steak frites and Halibut were delicious and generous portions. I'm so glad we didn't skip dessert, our waitress recommended the stone fruit galette. It was very tasty and a perfect portion for sharing.
We dined here the night before a holiday so the place was pretty busy. Service was unhurried, similar to dining in Europe. Nice not to be rushed out of there!
Food was very good, but not exceptional (including the duck confit). Good service, good vibe, pretty loud though.
