Ate at this restaurant as part of tour “San Francisco : Muir Woods, Napa Valley & Sonoma Valley Wine tour . DO NOT EAT here as part of tour . Cost of lunch as part of tour was 110 AUD per person. Lunch consisted of salad with only leaves and few croutons, watered down soup and pasta that seems like it came from a can . Upon looking at the actual menu, we could not find the dishes that were actually served to us . Extremely disappointing and was also surprised they describe themselves as an Italian restaurant. The food was anything but Italian!

Great service and atmosphere. The food was good but nothing stood out as above and beyond. I would go there again though.

Always top tier, friendly service and fantastic A+++ food. The kitchen has an absolute magical touch. Hands down a Sonoma favorite, and a must do for a wonderful brunch, lunch and dinner!

I cannot say the place was bad because the bruschetta was absolutely phenomenal, but the monte cristo and the caprese were underwhelming. The tomatoes in the caprese tasted like the ones that are gassed to look red. Also the fruit salad that came with the monte cristo looked…questionable 😕.

Antony from Small-Group Wine Country Tour from San Francisco with Tastings booked via Tripadvisor recommended this place for their World Famous Burgers, but the DIY wine tasting we had here was absolutely fantastic!

Excellent restaurant, service was great, Bar tender does a great espresso martini. Food was on point. This place was so good we went twice during our 3 night stay.

Raziel was a most fantastic waiter. Great attitude and great smile. The bruschetta was amazing. The Bolognese was delicious. I was excited to see the 2017 Soldo Barolo on the list. It was perfect and reasonably priced. Too bad they didn't offer more red Italian but at least the one offered was perfect.

First time here and the owner greeted me and was very polite and made me feel welcome. Service was excellent and didn't have to wait for anything.

What a disappointment yesterday for lunch. Crab melt was on a burnt piece of toast the egg was over cooked and my Salmon was so salty I don't know what they did. My suggestion is try another place.

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch mid week at The Plaza Bistro on a beautiful warm day. Sat at table for two next to a window along street side with sliding window slightly opened. Felt like alfresco dining. We started with a bottle of sparkling wine along with their delicious crab cakes. Also, shared the Frito di Mare Salad, and enjoyed their Salmon Sandwich (with bacon! Yummy!!) with French Fries. Everything was delicious! Next visit, dinner. And, our waiter, Leo was so ever nice & sweet. Thank You!

Food was average, we got a table close to the TV and the bar, the noisiest area. If you are looking for a quieter experience ask to be seated in the other room. Nice touch were the natural flowers at each table but the general decor wasn't good, more like an outdated American cantina. It doesn't feel Italian...

TBH we should've just left when our server told us that he can make my young kids plain spaghetti, but he will charge us a full entree price for it ($26. For plain spaghetti).
I was annoyed by that, which soured the rest of my outing experience. But my schnitzel was good, I'll give them that. My wife had the bolognese, which she said was terrible (and had celery in it which she hates and wasn't called out in the menu, and who puts celery in bolognese anyways?!).
Wedge salad was ok, no more no less.
The tab was $110 (food only), and to add to the insult, the kids didn't even like the plain spaghetti, and we left a full plate.
There are a lot of great restaurants in Sonoma, go somewhere else.

Charming spot with good service and good food. Price was very reasonable for our brunch dishes.
