Had a small work xmas lunch here yesterday in their back patio cabana-type space. Truly great! You can tell they care about what they're doing, and the whole experience was just so Sonoma. Will be back sometime, thk you!

Enjoyed the food here, and nice service, though seemed a bit understaffed at lunch time.

DO NOT CALL TO MAKE A RESERVATION.

Tock was giving an error when attempting to make a reservation and we called instead. We were told over the phone that the reservation was completed, had our name and number was taken down. Go turned away at the door, were told we did not have a reservation said it was a private event that night. Once again. Do not reserve over the phone. It is not reliable.

The Valley Breakfast was an explosion of flavors. You could taste each ingredient with each bite.

The chilaquiles were perfectly spicy and each tortilla chip had just enough beans.

The side of bacon was flavorful and perfectly crispy.

We are going back tomorrow.

I had a great meal at Valley Bar & Bottle as part of the celebration of Summer of Riesling. The food was excellent and they had a great selection of Rieslings. The service was very attentive. The owner, Tanner Walle, had Paul Grieco assisting (he started Summer of Riesling and is the owner of the Terroir wine bar in NYC) and Tanner very helpful in selecting which Rieslings to try. They even offered "Riesling" tattoos (erasable) which I got! I strongly recommend the restaurant both for regular meals and special events, such as the Summer of Riesling.

Entrees took an hour to come out after the order was placed… We asked one of the waitresses about our order around 40 minutes into the wait - she looked at us blankly, didn’t say a word, and walked away.

Food was mediocre to add to it all.

So many great restaurants to choose from in Sonoma, this is not one of them.

It was okay- the menu is not extensive so we asked the waiter for suggestions but he responded by saying he was happy to answer any questions we had. We thought he might be new in the role so we went along but I’m not sure we ordered correctly as a result. The XO eggs and salad were both lovely. The crispy rice was okay as was the lamb. Not a lot of protein options which we thought was odd. The wine list was interesting- we ended up ordering an organic wine that none of us enjoyed. Overall it was a bit disappointing.

An extraordinary evening - great wine, easygoing atmosphere, delicious food. Particularly fond of the tomato toast (late summer perfection!), the stone fruit with ricotta, and the excellent half chicken dish. A must in Sonoma.

Great, fresh and hip atmosphere. Food was good, and there was an extensive wine list. The wine/coffee woman was knowledgeable and helpful.

This place has a beautiful aesthetic. Flattering low-lighting. A variety of textured surfaces like cement, natural wood, and painted colors, fresh flowers, intentionally missmatched silverware, PLUS rocktar staging for the bustling kitchen. I LOVE the wall of dried herbs hanging and the thoughtfully curated music (shufflin twang guitar, with an eclectic rockabilly groove). But the star of this venue is the food and an incredibly knowledgeable staff.

It will get busy on the weekends. Be patient. It is worth the wait.

On my first visit, I just popped in for dessert on a whim. I snuck into an empty seat at the bar and I had the most delicious olive oil cake with a paired cocktail that I asked the bartender to pick for me.
