We had the most friendly, educational, and fun Pinot tasting at Walt. Our wine educator was Elan; and he was simply lovely! He guided us through the different kinds of soil, regions of grape growing and flavors. It was just perfect! We highly recommend Walt for their exceptional tasting wines and their amazing and fun staff, like Elan. Just a wonderful experience!

Jesse was a wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable educator! We had a lovely time enjoying all the Pinot Noirs. Our favorite was Bob's Ranch, which reminded us of a Cab Sav. We ordered a few bottles of it, along with Gap's Crown too!

We had a great time at Walt. The gentleman serving is was a wealth of information and even during the hottest part of the day, sitting in their side patio was pleasant. You can sit inside with AC as well. They accepted us as a walk in, no appointment needed but it was also a Monday. Great wines, I loved being able to taste Pinot from Willamette to Santa Barbara.

As members and partners of Hall Wine, we visited Walt this past Monday morning and were treated wonderfully by Terry. Two of us have been to Walt many times but the others in our group had not been and Terry did a superb job with the time he took with our group, explaining everything about the Walt pinot wines and the Hall family. The Walt wines are so enjoyable and our stop at Walt in Sonoma was a great way to start our trip up to Saint Helena, CA for the rest of the week. Sitting beside the huge redwood in the yard was lovely as always. We are looking forward to the next time we’re in Sonoma to stop by again:

Elan was the perfect host, after the 1000 miles of Pinot Noir tasting, he figured out my tastes and brought out few more to try. This was my 4th Pinot Noir tasting and I think they are the best the Sonoma Coast and Russian River have to offer. Wish I had room for more that just one case!

An exceptional wine experience at Walt Wines in Sonoma. Their Pinot Noir is truly unique and delicious. I enjoyed the company of good friends who are club members, and this time I was lucky to join them. The atmosphere in the tasting room is cozy and pleasant. I recommend booking in advance if you plan to visit, as they tend to be quite busy, especially if you're not a member. A visit worth making in Sonoma!

Tried stopping here for a tasting with my boyfriend. Asked if we could split a tasting as it was more for my boyfriend and I just wanted a sip or two. The woman told us she wouldn’t recommend it and that a tasting would be equal to one glass of wine. Told her that’s fine and we’d like to do that. And then she told us she wouldn’t be able to accommodate us. She should have started with that.
