The food and wine was amazing, but I think it was the service that put it over the top. Despite being a very high class restaurant, the server and the staff didn’t seem stuck up or too “fancy” at all, which made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at the hotel and dined in once, and had takeout to our room once. Our experience in the dining room was excellent. The duck wings were amazing g and are a treat! The rest of the food was totally fine, but not memorable. Fantastic and attentive service. Food came too fast so the meal felt rushed.
The second time was terrible. I ordered a burger to bring back to our room as we were staying at the Lodge. It took 3 times as long as they said it would, there were no utensils in the bag which I was lucky to have checked for on my way out the door. It took a full 7 minutes for someone to appear with utensils after I had already waited for the food itself. The burger was completely overcooked and cold as were the fries. Really bad.
4.5 stars for the restaurant dine-in experience. 1 star for the take out which should really just be room service, since I was a guest at the Lodge and had to go pick up the (cold) food myself.

Well it began with the very over priced glass of champagne ..sparkling wine..on the menu.. $9.00 a glass MORE than the last nights dinner at La Haye! Needless to say I did not order. Asked for a glass of Prosecco and it tasted like vinegar so sent it back and ended with a glass of Poe sparking wine that was delicious! But all were served in a wine glass not a champagne glass.. hello we are in the wine country where you would think they were glass savy. Noise level was high and the salads and pizza were quite average.. and expensive. I say too much hype and not enough substance.. don't bother going here Also the scraping of the bar stools on the concrete floors echoed through the place like a plane landing next to your table! Such an easy fix but management was obviously deaf to this ! WOW

It was christmas dinner, so there was a prefixed meal. It was pretty wet out we were in the private part in the back which was fabulous where you can actually hear each other talk and nice fireplace in the ambience was great. Lots of heaters you won't be cold. The food was very good, and so was the drink.

Really enjoyed the my experience. Started with great cocktail at the bar on night one and came back for dinner on night number two. Vesper was nicely done and the hamachi sashimi starter was fresh and bright. Had the steak tartare and burger for dinner both were an aout perform.

Got the Caesar salad and wings to go. Good meal when I was super tired. It’s a cool looking spot with a nice looking bar. Kind of confusing about how to get to it from within the hotel (you can’t).

We had an amazing meal in an incredible setting . The food was delicious and exceptional . Chef Tyrell Hall is prepared everything to perfection . We were greeted with the best customer service . The wait staff is amazing as well. Would definitely return for another meal .

My husband and I came to Wit & Wisdom for the first time for Thanksgiving Dinner, and we had the most wonderful time! The service was extraordinary. The cocktails were fantastic. The food was perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. And the overall ambiance of the restaurant was warm, beautiful, upscale but not pretentious, and the perfect setting for our meal. We would be more than happy to celebrate Thanksgiving here again, and we will definitely come back for more visits throughout the year. This immediately became our favorite new restaurant in Sonoma County, and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! We were seated outside by request and waited about 15 min for someone to acknowledge us before going up to the hotels and asking for assistance. Within a couple minutes the manager came out and greeted us. He didn't apologize but just stood there until my friend spoke up and said no one had been out except to bring us water. He then took out a piece of paper and took our drink orders. Our waitress came out approx 3-4 min later. The food was not as good as expected from a well known chef. There were 6 of us no one felt it was worth the price. Drinks were mediocre also. Sadly, we can't recommend this establishment.

A sadly underwhelming experience in Sonoma - which is shocking An Underwhelming Brick Chicken! Skin was not crispy. Crispy skin is the main feature of a brick chicken dish. I asked the server about it and he made it sound like “skin doesn't have to be crispy”!! Broccoli side was also terrible. Nothing charred or roasted about it - just plain steamed! Duck wings were good Oysters were also good, but these are just sourced from a good place and cannot be messed up.
