I usually order the burger which is always good and decided to try the seafood shiskabob. Two skewers with salmon, shrimp, and cod with FRESH veggies. Excellent all the way around. Solid food and good customer service.

The service at Carpos today was poor to fair. My order was wrong, so I had to wait longer for my meal to arrive. They more or less demand a tip, unless you pay in cash. Not sure I will eat there again.

Carlos hasn't changed a bit except for higher prices. Really time for the restaurant to get a face-lift. We ordered a great seafood kabab and a crab and shrimp sandwich. Portions are large and it was filling. Excellent that they serve the food to-go thru a back window to Beer Thirtys beer garden next door.

The food is always fresh. The Rock Cod is my favorite. There is only counter service, but there is nothing wrong with that. Pricing is reasonable, and you get to catch a ballgame on TV. We'll always be a regular here.

We were there today. We noticed Carpo's is celebrating their 39th year! We reflected that we regularly visited when our children were little. They loved the perennial fantasy mural on the back wall. It is still there, working its magic on little ones. As a restaurant, we have always enjoyed Carpo's food and quick service. The only downsides are that we avoid the place when the parking lot is full. It can get noisy. That's our choice. If you don't mind the crowd you'll still enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Bistro style, order at the counter and then pickup when your buzzer goes off. Big salad bar lots of choices. Build a green and or enjoy the ready made. Staffing is friendly and helpful. Beach decorating and music. Outside dinning is available on a plant lined patio. We have had Takeout sever times, always good and accurate. Prices are reasonable. Carrot cake is the best, big serving.

Well this was a mistake- I ordered prawns on the side thinking they would be grilled like the ones on the fish kabob-but no beuno! They were deep fried. I asked the manager on duty (who seemed pretty attentive) if they had grilled prawns like they used to ( they used to come 6 on a skewer) (and by the way a picture of them is still on the menu)he said they only come on the fish kabob that has grilled salmon and cod on it as well- count me out I don't like salmon- and he said they were pre made so he couldn't just grill 6 prawns. Wasted my money. The carrot cake held up and taste about the same- although it is a darker color- it used to be more golden brown- there's something about that place now that's different- it looks run down and dank- there's a lot of employees- I counted like at least 7 in the back asking each other when they got off work-and three on the floor cleaning and filling the salad bar- it was about 4 and the parking lot was almost empty- unusual for that place- usually it's full and there in the cooking up a storm- guess I'm gonna have to head on down to the wharf in search of grilled prawns. Buyer beware!
