The salmon with miso butter was so good that after the first bite I couldn’t stop eating. I also ordered this delicious salad with stone fruit vinaigrette that was equally delicious.
Great food, good selection of wines and home made nonalcoholic beverages.

Home Away Soquel is a cozy, creative, and warm restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. It is a phenomenal farm to table kind of place focusing on high quality, fresh, and locally sourced ingredients. The menu is extraordinary, unique, interesting, and always rotating. The food is incredible, delicious, and flavorful with big enough portions to share. Dishes include a tripe in spicy tomato sauce, Caesar salad, Fogline pate, trumpet mushroom poke bowl, beef cheek empanadas, charcuterie plate, chicken liver pate, rock cod, duck, and homemade sausage. It is a great lunch or dinner spot, perfect for a lunch date. The wine list and selection is great, and the Tanuki cider is a perfect accompaniment. It is a must try and a fun place to enjoy solo or with friends.
