My Review for Carl’s Jr. S El Monte Good Food, But Terrible Service and Unsafe Atmosphere
I visited this Carl’s Jr. location on 12/08/25 around 4:00 PM via the drive-thru, and while the food was decent, the overall experience was very poor.
First, the drive-thru employee was rude and unprofessional. When I tried to make a simple change to my order (adding Chicken Stars), he gave me attitude and said he couldn’t add anything — even though there was no one else in line. There was no sense of customer service or care, just irritation and dismissiveness.
Second, the location feels abandoned and unmaintained, which already gives a bad impression. On top of that, homeless individuals were staying in the parking lot, and one even approached my car at the drive-thru window asking for money. It felt unsafe and unsettling, especially as I was alone.
This is not the environment I expect when grabbing a quick bite. Good food alone isn’t enough when the service is lacking and the atmosphere feels neglected and unsafe. I won’t be returning unless serious improvements are made in both staff training and overall property maintenance.

I ordered 2 bacon biscuits, it was good the only bad thing was it had a piece of bacon cut in half. If it weren't for that, it would have been perfect.

ordered the steak breakfast burrito about a week ago , it was disgusting threw it away it was so bad the meat was for sure bad and the eggs looked kind of brown , keep in mind i work around the corner from this place and ive been ordering this for quite a while , since the resteraunt has changed it hours and the $20 minimum wage kicked in the quality has also dropped considerable , sorry Carls i guess ill buy my breakfast at the store or fix it my self from now on , AND i had to pay $10 for it !!!!
