Coffee & Chisme is a nice place. every visit feels cozy and vibrant. The staff are friendly and bilingual, the coffee and pastries are delicious, and the charming “chisme jar” adds a fun, community touch to the experience.

It was my first time trying this spot after returning home from a 10 month deployment and from the customer service, drink’s and atmosphere everything was hands down perfect. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of everyone else’s drinks because they finished them before we got to the car lol
10 out of 10 must try if your ever in South Gate and wanna try something different and get some cool pictures or read a chisme while you wait.

This restaurant is a true hidden gem. And it is fantastic I came all the way from Glendale which might not be to Fat but I am be coming a regular customer because the food here is ridiculously good. And they have specialty coffees that is all the rave rn . And matcha . The staff is so kind the manager Luz made me feel at home so helpful and welcoming. I came back already and brought my mom and kids and even the picky lil ones gobbled up the food. 10/10 recommend . The plus . The chisme bowls. Great entertainment.

Don't bother if youre in a rush. While I appreciate small businesses, it was a little frustrating to wait almost 30 minutes for 3 coffees. AND the menu prices are not up to date. A medium drink on the menu says 4.85...I was charged 6.25. A $1.40 difference 😐 The owner im assuming payed me back the difference. But it would be nice to know beforehand. I wanted to like this place so bad too which sucks :(
