This “gelato” is mediocre at best, and I don’t even know if you can call it gelato. I know it’s summer right now and bugs are inevitable, but can’t you do something about the flys I saw crawling over the window above the “gelato”?
While my boyfriend was trying to gently insert his card into the machine, the man in front snatched it from him to tap it onto another spot. ABSOLUTELY NOT. How strange and downright unprofessional? If you're wondering why you don't get any tips, that's why. If you're going to have mediocre ice cream (can't even call it Gelato), at least give decent service and don't drag your pubescent child into your antics.
Perfect dessert after dinner. Loved the cookies and cream gelato — super creamy and packed with flavor. Will definitely be back!
nice little treat after some lunch/dinner.
Overpriced and average.
Delicious! Cute place with a variety of gelato and sorbet. A must stop while visiting the shops at Ski Run Marina! 😋 Fee for parking, 1st 1/2 hour free.
Art of Gelato is an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel so welcome. The gelato was absolutely delicious—smooth, rich, and full of flavor. My favorites were the coconut (yes, I got coconut and more coconut!) and the chocolate. The coconut was creamy and refreshing, while the chocolate was perfectly indulgent and satisfying. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Highly recommend stopping by if you're nearby—I’ll definitely be back for more! There's a patio for sitting and they brought out a water bowl for my pup. Thank you guys!
Tried the Peanut Butter Cup ice cream — super creamy and full of rich, nutty flavor. A satisfying treat and definitely worth a stop if you're craving something swee

I try gelato everywhere when I travel! I was delighted to stumble upon this place while I was visiting the marina in South Lake Tahoe! I tried the peanut butter cup gelato and while it was good, it did not have that knock-out creaminess that I’ve come to love from gelato. It tasted more like an ice cream, but delicious none-the-less! I especially enjoyed the vibe/atmosphere and giggled at their humor (see the decal sticker on the glass of their gelato viewing window)!

Quick in and out. Decent flavors, probably more money than the quality is worth, but does the job.

Gelato is great but the woman helping us on Saturday got our orders wrong after several attempts to explain. And dropped our scoops into different flavors. I’m not a big fan of espresso with my strawberry cheesecake.

Only reason it isn’t five stars is the overwhelming smell of garbage from the dumpsters/trash cans. I don’t know how this little alley way which has such potential can smell so bad, but it completely takes away from the fun time of getting delicious ice cream!
