Artemis Lakefront Café

But guys, take it easy on the salt. We have had several good meals but got delivery last night and it was way way too salty. First time I have ever had that issue.

I highly recommend the Artemis Fries and Galaktoboureko dessert. They make a good cup of cappuccino too. The view of the lake is excellent. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor seating and there is a fairly big parking lot shared with other businesses. Service was fast and we were seated right away. Would eat there again.

I recently visited this café and had a wonderful experience. As a Jain, I follow a strict diet that excludes meat, eggs, and root vegetables. I called the café in advance, and they were incredibly responsive and accommodating to my dietary restrictions.

I ordered two items: the pancakes and the Mediterranean power bowl. The pancakes, which I customized with blueberries, chocolate, and walnuts, were made from a premix that didn’t contain eggs, which was perfect for my requirements.

For the Mediterranean power bowl, I asked them to remove the onions and spinach. They also prepared the lentils with garlic, which I needed to exclude. Despite these modifications, the bowl was still delicious, and I really appreciated how they made sure everything suited my preferences.

The service was exceptional, with the staff checking in to ensure that everything was to my liking. Their attention to detail and willingness to adapt to my needs truly stood out.

As for the location, it couldn’t have been better. The café has a prime spot by the lake, and we were fortunate to sit outside on a day that was both sunny and cool. The view and ambiance added a special touch to the entire experience. Overall, I loved the service and the care they took to make sure I had everything I enjoyed!

We didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with our dishes. We had the chicken souvlaki plate and the burger with fries. Shout out to our server, Colton, who was attentive and prompt. He recommended the house made hot sauce (delicious!) and the skordalia (potato & garlic sauce) which I couldn’t get enough of. Don’t miss out on this place! It has the added bonus of a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe.

There was a woman working the other day (seemed like one of the managers), she was sitting on top of the counter and was talking about VERY inappropriate topics while my family was there with kids, it ruined our experience. There should be a higher level of professionalism, this wasn’t it for me.

I had so much hope before arriving. Lakefront and Greek? It is definetly not lakefront and I'm dubious on the Greek too.
All our breakfasts were subpar Dennys fare.
Nothing made with care or flavor. Prepackaged fried potatoes were listed as herbed potatoes.
It just seemed like the whole place just gave up.

It was really good but the wildlife was very bold in trying to eat with us outdoors but the food was good and the staff even tried to keep the birds away as much as possible

We chose this place for our anniversary dinner and were disappointed. We ordered the lamb souvlaki plate and chicken gyro. While the food was okay, it didn’t justify the high prices, likely due to the location with views of Lake Tahoe (outdoor seating only). Our meals took about 35-40 minutes to arrive, and it took another 15 minutes to get the final bill. Overall, the experience didn’t justify the cost.

Absolutely the worst service. Don’t go unless you want to have them spit in your food in front of you for their mistake! Terrible. Should not be in business!

Either the sign “wait here to be seated” is missing, or we did not notice it, but had to go back and forth a couple of times following the waiter. Food is great, had moussaka and burger. Chairs not the most comfortable though.

The food was not worth the $100 we paid for two people. The service was great and the lake front view was worth it.

The place was nice. The food was great and the inside had a nice Mediterranean vibe with decorations and photos all over the walls. The only downside was that the fans were not working and they were to be replaced the next day, so there were a couple of houseflies around the place. But overall, it deserves a 5-Star Rating.
