Really good tasting pizza and good service. We built our own and really liked the crust; more on the thin side and crunchy. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

Got the base camp pizza which was pretty good.Service takes a good while but it is in a tourist spot and they were pretty busy.I would return if I ever visit again and am in the mood for pizza.

We have been going to Basecamp for over 9 years as we lived on Stateline. We now live in Minden and go to Heavenly Village to hang out and eat, listen to live music, etc. Let me say that out of all the servers we have ever had. Alydia, I think that is how you spell her name. This girl was on top of everything! Great service she never forgot one thing we asked for, she would look over to see how full my glass was. wow! this girl is AMAZING! She had a smile on her face the whole time. I hope to sit in her section next time we eat there. We appreciate you Alydia :o)

I can’t imagine how this place gets 4.5 stars.Ordered a small cheese and a small bbq chicken to go. It’s difficult to find.Both pizzas were burnt brown, and very low quality.Was hoping for a good pizza… I know what one is. You would think that the place in the heart of South Lake Tahoe would make one.

It is always so busy, we haven’t been in several years but the wait is worth every minute. We lucked out and got a couple of stools at the bar. Peak set us up and it was a great night.

Automatic 15% "service fee" for no service due to take out is unfortunate. The menu is already overpriced and portions are lacking for what you pay for. Very disappointing.
Is it just me or is the Mac and cheese the best ever! I am not a big eater but when I took one bite my taste buds started dancing for more and I ate my whole plate!Here to edit- this review was done by my 9 year old :) but he's not wrong! Great food all around and the live music was wonderful.

Put in a reservation around 8:20 on a Saturday in April and told it'd be about 30 minutes to an hour wait. Got the text just past nine. Hustled over but I guess I was just more than 7 minutes late so they gave away my table. Pretty unexpected. Thankfully there was room at the bar so I still got seated right away. Pizza was pretty solid, worth the wait, but probably not much more than that. Lesson is they take the 7 minute limit after texting very seriously so don't stray too far.
