I don't really want to rate this restaurant, but it requires me to use the star system. We were in Lake Tahoe for a week, and one morning we were going to give Bert's a try. I get it, Sundays are very busy. My husband went to the door to check on the wait time. They said it would be 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I wished we could have given it a try, but that's just too long for us. I have to assume it's really good.
This place was absolutely wonderful!!! Everything from the service to the food was impeccable. Comfort breakfast food from scratch. The portions are big enough that we were able to make two meals out of them. We are from Missouri and aside from the prices this place felt like home.
Very cute place, very small town cafe feel. Very affordable and tastes delicious. Unfortunately, not many places in the Tahoe area have genuinely good food but this place is definitely a breakfast gem.
I would suggest this place to anyone looking for good breakfast.
Parking: Free parking but limited space but we found a spot.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families there.
