Good salsas.
Good tacos.
Nothing exceptional.

No Coke...major foul for a Mexican Restaurant.

The beans? Canned?

Wanted to try the Pozole, but it wasn't available.

Not much of an atmosphere, the great burritos have a great price.

Got a super shrimp Burrito, and it was the worst I've had in years. Everything was lukewarm despite the Burrito being made to order (long wait even though nobody else was in there). Flavor was lacking, weird that they included Lettuce in a Burrito and I was generally grossed out. Paid extra for a bag of chips and they were stale, and the salsas were meh. I hate to say this, but I could have gotten a better tasting Burrito for half the price from Chipotle. This place was recommended by a local, maybe I ordered the wrong item.

...Burrito Brothers was just the fix I needed for a fast, clean, delicious, home away from home Mexican dinner!...we were in South Lake Tahoe 9-15-24...I was delighted to see camarones on the menu!...I opted for the 12 shrimp plate and hubby had a shredded beef chili plate...the presentation was beautiful!...and the meals were yummy!...the self serve salsa cart has six options...all delicious!...and I took out a slice of Mexican flan for dessert at the hotel...thank you Lopez family you have a wonderful family business...courteous and efficient young men at the order counter...and a lovely way to end my vacay at Tahoe...

They have the best breakfast burritos I have ever had and their salsa bar is amazing. Also the churros are the best I've ever had.

A giant thumbs down. I tried it twice, and it was pretty bad. Bummer because, I was really hoping for a decent taqueria in South Lake. The torta was sparse chopped chicken in a big bed of lettuce served with the worst leftover fries I've ever had. The burrito on the second visit wasn't much better. I got an extra greasy carne asada burrito without much meat for $13. I hope you guys work on it, you could have a good thing.

We were in town from San Diego and we were looking for a place for a quick bite to eat. I prefer small, family owned and run places. My buddy and I stopped in to try them out. He had enchiladas and I had the best shrimp quesadilla that I have ever had. The family obviously cares about their food and their service, and the two little girls are delightful. The next time I am passing through this will be my first stop.

The only thing I can say about this place is that I would never come back here again. Not quite sure why this place is always slammed busy when I go buy it but I have to try it and although was just okay as far as the food goes the service here was terrible, flies everywhere which was disgusting, and they ran out of chips!?!?!?!! How does that happen at a Mexican food restaurant, that they run out of tortilla chips????? Next time motor prefer Taco Bell and it would save me a ton of money as well. I would not recommend this place and I would never come back here ever again.

Terrible and the food was even worse. Beef inside of the enchiladas was old. No flavor in the carnitas. Front salsa bar is too crowded because of the register. They charge for chips and salsa. Never again. Very rude also

Good food but when we placed a togo order for our employee meeting they missed 2 orders. Just make sure your order is complete before leaving

This place was the best Mexican food in Tahoe 15 year ago. Sadly, it’s barely edible now. And the service is worse than the food.

This is the spot. I come here like 4x a week. Consistently great burritos. Always get the complimentary salsa (jalapeño sour cream is what’s up). Their Al Pastor burrito is always solid. Sergio is the man
