Queso was delicious as was my margarita. The beans and rice were pretty good but the tacos, specifically the carne asada and carnitas were bland. The al pastor made up for the other tacos.
Great food, great service! Nicolas was our server, he was awesome. We sat outside and it’s nice to have a view of the village.
My son got a grande burrito and omg it was HUGE, and the carne asada inside was sooo good. The chicken enchiladas, elote, and al pastor tacos were all excellent as well.

When looking for legit mexican food while in Lake tahoe. Definitely come to cantaritos! This place has fresh torts, great service! Wonderful atmosphere. Easy to walk to! Outdoor seating if you like. The food isn't your typical gringo mexican food either .
