Tried this place for the first time in 15 years (we are part timers). I kept hearing about the food as being great. It was! When I walked in, the bartender (Amber) introduced herself to Me. Her service was excellent, while handling the whole bar/restaurant!

Bartender couldn't remember names, faxes or anything actually. I'm honestly surprised he didn't use his hands and toes to count. Who dresses him in the morning?Terrible service.

For what I had the rating is a two. I ordered the vegie burger and the supposedly home made potato salad. The burger was over done which made it chewy and the potato salad had the texture and tasted just like Reser's potato salad, leading me to believe it was not home made. The lunch bartender was very attentive and took good care of us. The other two people I was with had the regular burgers and seamed to very happy with them.

Run by locals and closed when the short bartender feels it's too boring to continue working. Then friends come in so he can play pool and keeps the place open as long as advertised. Stay away from any local bar in South Lake tahoe. They don't treat anything like a proper business as they would in a normal City.

Great local place to play pool and socialize with friends in a great setting. Definitely a step up from a dive bar, but still maintains that similar dove ambience.Typical pub style food, but with very reasonable prices in a variety of variations of popular entrees.Both employees and customers are very friendly and it is one of my go-to places.Kid-friendliness: It's not often you see kids in there, but from time to time there will be families.

First, food is always good, I havent had a bad meal there yet. Chili cheese fries are a definite must have. Only reason why Im giving this establishment 2 stars is the way they allow dogs to be in and act in the bar. A patron had his small dog sitting on a bar stool at the bar, and the dog was standing up with its front legs on the bar. Really gross and unsanitary in my opinion. Tbh, it would be the same if i just leaned over the bar and started drinking from straight out of the beer tap. Hopefully the owner will correct this issue and start enforcing dog in restaurant codes and make them stay outside on the patio.
