Sweet little local cafe and ice cream spot. Cozy decor and friendly people. Good value and delicious sandwiches and bagels!
I hardly ever leave reviews, but I dropped by Cool Beans last week based on a recommendation from the checker at the supermarket in Myers.
I was heading out on a hike and I had an absolutely delicious egg sandwich. I also grabbed one of their turkey sandwiches to go for lunch on the trail. The woman working there was super nice, and the food was just great. I'll be back next time I'm up in Tahoe.
Highly recommended. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but check it out. You won't be sorry.
Cool beans!!!
We all scream for cool beans.
The goat is a salty sweet creamy crunchy combination. So good and fuel you up all day long. Will come back again and try other goodness
Everything is awesome about this place and people. They even have ice cream in the winter :)
HIGHLY recommend stopping by Cool Beans for lunch or after skiing when in Tahoe. Sandwiches and baked goods (choco chip cookies in particular) are DELICIOUS, and they also have ice cream, bowls and fresh coffee. It’s a warm and welcoming environment with local art pieces on display. The owner is awesome too! We will be back :)
I am not usually a sandwich person but this place has me craving them! Every item I’ve ordered has yet to disappoint me. The sandwiches are creative and balance the right amount of sweet and savory. They also support local artists and sell their display pieces!

The food took a long time. Sandwich came with no meat-missing turkey-entirely wrong sandwich received. Substituted the chai without asking. First time trying and will be the last.
Replying to owners unprofessional response: I wanted to share my recent experience with my first time order, as I believe feedback can help improve service for your customers in the future.
Unfortunately, no, one sandwich was missing turkey entirely, which was disappointing and not what I paid for. It was a veggie sandwich only. See picture. I received the wrong sandwich completely. Your menu states this sandwich has turkey etc on it-Sierra Crow. Not sprouts and onions and cucumbers which it came with.
When substitutions occur, especially for allergies, it’s important to communicate those changes clearly and directly. If an item is unavailable, a cancellation would have been preferable. I have been contacted by businesses before for being out of items. Or they’ll just cancel it. It’s not okay to charge someone for something they didn’t order.
I understand that delays can happen, but this order took over an hour, and the prep time kept changing and getting pushed. As locals, we value good service and quality food, and I believe enhancing customer service could make a significant difference. But I’m sure this feedback will fall on deaf ears. As I see you’re not open to it from your initial response. You got your money. I see that’s all that matters in your eyes. We won’t be back and I definitely won’t have nice things to say about this place to others, when asked.
Thank you.

We stopped by here to get a sandwich, but had no idea it would be the best sandwich ever! We split a Sierra Crow. OMG! Going back today for a whole one for each of us!

Great tuna melts! On the way back from Tahoe we found this gem. Didn't have high expectations but was better than bay area tuna melts. I got mine on gluten free bagel and without cheese and that was excellent too. Hubby got his the regular way and it was really good. Not sure which bread they used but seemed like they make it in house, it was that fresh.
Kids got grilled cheese and ate without complaining.
Ice creams we tried: almond pistachio, butter pecan, cookies and cream. All very good.
The place has holiday decor and gives a very cozy vibe.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bagel available
Ordered tuna melt without cheese to make it dairy free.
