Seems like a great place and service was good, but unfortunately the coffee was awful and burnt. Food was good though

I recently had Crazy Good Bakery’s donuts at a wedding, and unfortunately, they didn’t live up to the name. Instead of being light and fluffy, they were dense, heavy, and hard to enjoy. The flavors didn’t shine through because the texture was so off. Definitely not the kind of donut I’d go back for.

Crazy Good Bakery absolutely delivers on its name! The pastries and breakfast sandwiches were an absolute hit—fresh, buttery, and packed with flavor. The croissant breakfast sandwich was perfectly flaky and golden, and their pastry case is filled with tempting options like chocolate croissants, muffins, and sweet breads.
Be prepared for a line (it moves a bit slowly), but it’s worth every minute. The staff is super friendly, and the coffee is solid, making it a perfect stop for breakfast or a quick treat. If you’re visiting South Lake Tahoe, this cozy bakery is a must-visit for a true local gem experience!

The bagel sandwich was sooooooooo salty. I ordered bacon egg cheese sandwich, but I got an egg sausage sandwich without cheese and it was like spoonful salt was used for the egg? or the sandwich was prepared on a sheet of salt or something. The crossaints were basic, nothing special, I disliked the texture. Iwas a bit too dry and not buterry at all. And the wait was super long. The food wasn't worth the wait.

The staff is so friendly and so efficient continuously restocking. The geisha customers are happy and the store is clean and full of cute things you can buy while you’re waiting in line they put sandwiches on croissants. They have bagel sandwich, options, Minh, coffee options and lots of yummy, unique pastries. Let’s not forget how kind and amazing the staff is even they slam. They’re sweet and work really hard. I always buy too much because everything looks so good. I bought a croissant sandwich that takes 15 minutes but the rest is fast. We also bought coffee and pastries and a cute magnet.

Ordered a drink here and I was not satisfied with it. Went up to the counter and the lady immediately exchange it out for something else for me. Great customer service and the other drink I ordered was a lot better. Thanks again for being understanding.

The bagel and smear are amazing. They load that smear on too. They didn’t tell me my bagel wasn’t ready with the rest of my order. So I got 15min down the road and had to turn around for it

So on the sign (see pic) it said lox on a bagel with smear was $16 and when she ring me up, she gave me an up charge of almost $2 i asked what the up charge was for and she said it was for the smear. Clearly on the sign, it says sixteen dollars with the smear. She said, it's only $16. If it's butter, then why have a sign that says smear $16 so it was almost twenty dollars for a bagel with lox. I think that she made an error I didn't want to admit it 🤷♂️ if she didn't, they need to change their sign. bagel was delicious though it better be for almost $20 i won't go back

Very cute place! Even though I visited at noon, there was still a great selection of pastries. I ordered the guava cake and it was delicious! Moist, fresh, and full of flavor!

When there is always a line waiting to order on a Friday and Saturday late morning, you know you have come to the right place. Crazy Good Bakery and Cafe is such an unassuming little house from the outside, but inside, is a colorful world of sweet decor, farm and bakery kitchen decor, and then amazing pastries, bagel sandwiches, muffins, and fantastic coffee. I have been twice in two days and everything that I have eaten was so good. I had the apple pie croissant, and my husband had the apple, walnut, and raisin strudel. Both fantastic! Today, I got their cinnamon roll and bear claw, and my husband got the bagel sandwich with ham and cheese on a seaseme bagel. We really enjoyed everything we got!
