The Chai latte with oat milk was really yummy. The people working there are really nice. I also had a cookie that had a matcha glaze and lemon poppyseed muffin. Their muffins are baked like brownies or cake versus in a traditional muffin tin. I went back a few days after the first time and got the avocado toast which was also really good. Delicious breakfast foods and fresh-baked pastries (labeled vegan). A variety of coffee drinks served in glasses or compostable containers. Cozy sofas and chairs surrounded by books and gift items. Friendly service. Cuppa Tahoe is a slice of heaven for this vegan bibliophile. I’m spending my Sunday here and will be back again. Tip: Take the free bus to the South Y Transit Center and walk across the street to the strip mall that includes Cuppa Tahoe.
Lovely little coffee shop at the Y in South Lake Tahoe. Cuppa is also a bookstore and gift shop. They make great coffee drinks and food offerings. The staff are super friendly and we'll ask how your day is going. During the week it's actually a great workspace. They have dedicated working spaces including sound rooms for phone calls. It can get very crowded on the weekends or during peak tourism season. Expect to wait up to 15 to 20 minutes to get a drink.

Amazing space for getting coffee, reading a cozy book, or working in their coworking space. I used it mostly for coworking -- the pricing is great ($3/hour when I was there), internet was good and I focused really easily. Thank you Cuppa Tahoe!

Cozy place for coffee and breakfast. The vibe is pretty chill and there’s also a book store inside the store. Service was good and the staff were great.

On vacation in Tahoe and needed a cup of coffee to get my day started. Came in with with my buddy and his family and noticed that the lady at the cash register was wearing a necklace with a map of historic Palestine and a Star of David right in the center. I asked her what this was, and she says it’s all Israel, all of it... including Gaza and the West Bank… Had to immediately walk out. Scarred my small nephew. Don’t let the tattoos and the hipster look fool you. It’s run by horrible people. Spend your money elsewhere. Plenty of choices around Tahoe that don’t support the starvation of children.
My favorite coffee shop around Lake Tahoe, recommend everyone ✨
