Place is small, cute, & clean with friendly staff. Quiet outdoor patio area is a plus. Locals eat here & I see why. My ham, tomato & Swiss sandwich was yummy!

Excellent chai latte and my white mocha was delicious.
Very cute store and sitting area. Would not recommend coffee of any type there, we tried a couple and all have no flavor mostly water or just a big cup of milk. But breakfast options or juice looked good.

El Dicho Café is such a hidden gem! I ordered the pumpkin chai café and it was absolutely amazing perfectly spiced, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Hands down one of the best seasonal drinks I’ve had. I also tried the Mountain Burrito, and you can taste how fresh it is in every bite, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
On top of that, the service was top tier. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!

I ordered a sandwich. They call tasty Turkey. I can't seem to find the Turkey.
It looks like they've only put one slice on it. Paying almost $13 for this sandwich is a little ridiculous since there's not much meat on it, there is a lot of lettuce tho.

I got a regular drip coffee and the el Dicho breakfast bagel. The coffee and bagel were delicious! It's hard to find good drip coffee that tastes as good as an americano.
Definitely stopping here the next time I'm in Tahoe!

Very cute location, staff friendly and good ambience. Two veggie burritos were 90% potato. Please put eggs in the breakfast burritos!

Very disappointing and not worth the price. I got a chai latte, blueberries and cream toast, and the el dicho bagel. Neither the toast or bagel were actually toasted, so the blueberries and cream “toast” was just on floppy, cold bread. The chai was a powdered drink and way too sweet. I never usually leave reviews on stuff but the reviews for this place looked better than they should have.

Pearla, the owner is the absolute sweetest! She has completely made my birthday week!
We stayed in Tahoe to celebrate my 20th birthday and had breakfast at her cafe everyday this week! Her drinks are amazing, especially her matcha latte with a shot of espresso.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Came here after a mountain bike ride. At the bottom of Ski Run. Very friendly staff. Good menu. Don't sleep on the CHOCOLATE ABUELITA. Definitely will return to try more options after more bike rides.

We checked this cute coffee house out while visiting Tahoe and it quickly became our favorite. The coffee is delicious, and have hands down the best pastry items I’ve ever had! The croissants and danishes are SO good! All made from scratch and are so flavorful and fluffy! The owner and her daughters are absolutely delightful. If visiting Tahoe-do yourself a favor and go check this place out-you will not be disappointed!
