This place was absolutely great. It had that "neighborhood bar" feel, where everyone was comfortable and friendly, and the bartender Charles, did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. The food was good for the price, and the drink prices were awesome. The music was on point, and we just had a great time there.
Our biggest regret was going in after lunch for a drink because we had no idea how substantial their food menu was…or how delicious everything was going to smell and look. Almost ordered a pot pie to go but settled for enjoying a hot toddy. We chatted with Janine and noticed how well she knows her regulars…mark of a great bar and a great bartender! We will be back!

We had our order taken at 11:47am and it took 75 minutes for our food to be delivered. In addition even after all that time, the failed to serve my 80 year old mother's food. We ended up being late for our meeting we had. Stay far away from this establishment. While I feel for the server who was managing the whole bar solo, I don't appreciate the attitude she gave us for us being upset at the situation. They did nothing to compensate and my mom left hungry haven't never been fed.

First time visiting and love this bar and grill. Food was amazing .... Ribeye steak and drinks were flowing. Would definitely recommend to others. Our waitress/bar tender was the best!

Definitely the best hole-in-the-wall bar in the south Tahoe area. Got to get the peanut butter jelly shots. Don't think I ever want to go to another bar again in South lake Tahoe except for this one. Bartender was super cool and came out and turned on the fire pit for me and my wife.

I ordered the BLT. It was the biggest and best tasting BLT I've ever had. Yum yum!!Kid-friendliness: Well I consider my dog my kid and he was welcome. We sat outside. Not sure if he could have gone inside.

Brutally Honest Reviews
The food is good, particularly the seafood, but who wants to eat at a place that reaks 24/7 of a sewage leak. That's a health code violation in itself. Most of the staff are friendly but one waitress named Ashleigh is extremely rude, opinionated and loud. With so many places in town it's not worth the time unless they get rid of that waitress and fix whatever's wrong with the sewer and vent right by the entrance that emits the foul odor. Then I'd bump it up to 3 or 4 stars for the outdoor seating.
