Lovely café with amazing food! The food was absolutely delicious, and you can really feel the care and passion behind it. The café is run by the owners themselves, who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ordered their henhouse empanadas and enjoyed every bite of it. It blew my mind that they made these fresh and served them hot. Definitely worth the hype and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s visiting Tahoe!

The best empanadas and tomato soup I’ve ever tasted. The soup is homemade: creamy and beautifully flavored. Warm goodness in a cup. I tried the spinach empanada. The dough is flaky, crispy and lightly fried. The spinach is mixed with cheese and the whole affair is so satisfying. Coming back tomorrow

I saw some great reviews for this little spot, and it happened to be right across the street from my hotel. I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! I was greeted by the owner. He took the time to share the details of several dishes and made recommendations. The Zuppa Tuscano was enhanced by the addition of some spicy sausage. Perfect for a chilly January afternoon. The Popeye Empanada had a light, flaky crust and was packed with spinach, mushrooms and tons of cheese. The addition of the chimichurri sauce was the perfect finishing touch. I left with a full, warm belly, and will definitely be coming back.

Friendly staff, charming location, delicious empanadas. I have lived in the US for two decades. I have tried may “empanadas” places that n luring one in Shinjuku, Tokyo. This location is by far the best I have ever tried. My family and I were so excited that I hm forgot to take pictures! LOL. I highly recommend their beef, chicken and Popeye empanadas. Finish with homemade flan and you will be in heaven! Will be back!

Empanash is literally a hidden gem. Google maps took me to the parking lot nearby and there is no large signage for the place so it took a minute to locate it nestled in a little alley between other shops, but its cant-miss dining! I ordered all the vegetarian empanadas and also the Cinner Sweet desert empanada. They were all incredible and delicious! The staff was so friendly and genuine, I could tell they really enjoyed creating such delicious meals to share with others. Will be going back here for sure on future Tahoe visits!
